It’s the casualness of the outfits. I don’t care if they are on vacation. They were meeting Spanish royalty. I expect no better from this collection of Chicago street thugs.

Michelle — I wanna be Imelda — is a classless act. I pity anyone who has to play the game with her.

I don’t think she’s too informally dressed. Note that the king is not wearing a tie, and the queen is wearing a casual flowered top and loose white trousers. They certainly didn’t bother getting dressed up for her. Meanwhile, Michelle is wearing what appears to be a pretty silk skirt (coupled with silver flats I find appalling), and the outfit conceals her wide hips and derriere.

My question is, what the heck is on that child? It looks as though she’s wearing a ballerina Halloween costume, again with glittery silver shoes. A visit to a head of state is not the occasion to let a child dress herself in any silly outfit she contrives.

Michelle is about as informally dressed as the Queen of Spain is.

And - at least Michelle’s is a simple color (albeit, one I thought she hated). I’d say in this instance Michelle is actually better dressed than the Queen of Spain, and yes, it pains me to say that plainly.
