This week’s First Family’s vacation will cost American taxpayers over $200,000.
Michelle Obama today faced a fresh wave of attacks over her lavish break in Spain with 40 friends which has cost U.S. taxpayers tens of thousands of pounds.
The First Lady has been lambasted for her extravagance at a time when the economy is still struggling. One blogger went so far as to brand her a modern-day Marie Antoinette.
The exact cost of the trip is unclear as Mrs Obama, 46, and her friends are footing personal expenses – including accommodation at Marbella’s five-star Hotel Villa Padierna – themselves.
But the taxpayer will have to pick up the tab for the First Lady’s 68-strong security detail, her personal staff – and the use of presidential jet Air Force Two.

According to Rush, the rooms at the hotel are 2500 a night for each. that comes up to $150,000 a night for lodging alone.
She dumped her hubby and one of ther kids and took off.
He dumped the kid and went to Chicago to be with Oprah. No one sees anything here??
I watched Obama's entourage last night in Chicago and it was ABSURD how many COPS, probably 30 just in the parade PLUS HUNDREDS n the streets, plus 20 Suburbans, Ambulance, Black Vans, White Vans...many of each and a weird truck thing...PLUS two Marine Ones!!Geesh...it was ROYALTY!!

Well I don’t think he’s fooling around with Oprah if that is what you are suggesting. I think the trip to Chicago was a chance for him to renew some of his relationships with his corrupt politician/mobster buddies, maybe get a chance for a little time alone with some of his questionable male friends. Also, keep in mind that Muslims do not celebrate birthdays, so this was a good excuse to not have to put on any kind of show of a family birthday celebration.
I do! Something is off! Why take one kid on vacation and not both? Why Obama go home alone for birthday and not take other daughter?
Honestly Michelle and Barry spending time apart and on his birthday to boot seems like possibly something is wrong in Obama land. Did the cheating rumors put a sting on the marriage of the Obamas? Hmmmmm.
