Good Morning Johnn, Lovely menu you have today. I have chosen your first listing, the Crab Cakes with hollandaise sauce, hash browns and sliced fruit! I haven’t eaten crab cakes for breakfast before but I say I lov’em and why not?

Have a bright sunny Monday!!

True greatness does not come to those
Who strive for worldly fame,
It lies instead with those who choose
To serve in Jesus’ name. —D. De Haan

Those are lovely words for all of us in this busy world. Thank you Rus, for turning our minds to our Lord each morning. Wishing you a beautiful day!

Glad to serve up the crab cakes and a prayer to start the day is as uplifting as that first cup of coffee.

By the way, Cinnamon Rolls and Carmel Rolls, (Hot from the oven) are there, just to the left of your elbow, enjoy!

I would love a nice warm cinnamon roll to enjoy after my breakfast. I still intend to make those cinnamon rolls that Yorkie made recently. I grabbed her recipe and told her I would definitely make them!

A Psalm for Monday

My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
I recite my composition concerning the King;
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.(Psalm 45)

Good Morning, Jaycee!
I am home from Vacation, and back to posting. Of Course, now I need to go to WORK! LOL!

Love,

GOOD MILITARY MONDAY TO AMY’S PLACE!

The Soldier’s Code

1) I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.

2) I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender my men while they still have the means to resist.

3) If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.

4) If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me, and will back them up in every way.

5) When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am bound to give only name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies, or harmful to their cause.

6) I will never forget that I am an American fighting man, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower, August, 1955.

Mornin’, Johnn! Hope you are ‘fit as a fiddle’, now, and done with that nasty pneumonia.

The recipe was simple - pop open a can of pizza dough, spread it out, brush with melted butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, put about 1/2 c. of raisins and nuts over dough, roll up long way, and slice into six or eight rolls. Put on sprayed cookie sheet, sides almost touching, and bake for about 8-10 minutes (watch closely). Remove from oven, and cover with confex. sugar icing. (I like to put orange zest over the nuts and raisins, before I roll the dough up, and then use orange juice instead of milk in the icing, with more orange zest.) MMMMMmmm-good!

This was a lovely graphic, Luv. Thank you for Amazing Grace, a song that is dear to most of us! I had it sung at my husband’s funeral, it was his favorite and he sang it some, too! His other two favorites which were sung were The Old Rugged Cross and How Great Thou Art.
