After being bitten, Hallam released the woman, apologized, and said it was just an April Fool’s joke, the affidavit states.

BS.
Gutless prosecutors to offer or accept a plea. This is not the last we have heard about this violent offender.

Why are young woman “taught, counseled” by young men? Shouldn't it be young women teaching counseling” young women?

Perhaps Obama will claim his presidential run was an April Fools joke when it’s determined he wasn’t eligible to run.

How does one become a “BYU home teacher”? Isn’t a “home teacher” by definition NOT a faculty member of BYU?

He’s certainly not one of the ‘good guys’. He did wrong and should be punished for his ill deeds, just like people of other religions should.

I find it funny that whenever a Mormon farts you’re the first one to run over and smell it. There’s a name for that psychological problem, just can’t think of it right now.

Moral of the story:

FIGHT BACK. LEAVE A MARK.

If the perp has ANY self-control/brains whatsoever, he might very well back off.

(Nothing wrong with shooting and all that stuff either, but that is not always possible.)

Well, I guess I'll be the first to say it: But the victim is this case is Mormon.

She needs fellow Mormons and those who deem themselves as non-Mormon allies to stand with her.

She doesn't need "PR" types who will indirectly aid her attacker.

Although anonymous, she doesn't need to be 100% "invisible" as people seek to protect the interests of the perp and his associations.

She wants her fellow Mormons to outright condemn this man's act with no qualifications; no caveats; no finger-pointing to perps of "other religions."

She is a victim and represents other similar victims. And when these victims see men weaving and bobbing to...
...ignore her (I mean, yes, she's a "Mormon, too" -- yet why is all the "Mormonic" comments geared toward the perp?)...
...or at least indirectly "lessen" or "reduce" the crime involved, it leads these victims to "cower in silence" too when such further crimes of violent exploitation occur.

Why? Because they see how many men bow the knee at the almighty idol of image and reputation.

From the excerpted article: Once in the room, Hallam attacked HER
with a Taser-like weapon,
pinned HER to the ground
and tried to handcuff HER...
...the WOMAN began screaming and fighting back, and at one point bit Hallam's finger, according to court documents.

SHE later told police she thought Hallam was trying to rape HER.
... Police found burn marks on the WOMAN's arm...

Does anybody identify with this woman's plight? (Or is this thread only about the poster, or by extension only about the DesNews journalist who wrote it? Is that how strong the "spirit of Nauvoo" is? Who is this "spirit of Nauvoo" that he can command such a following that nearly 100% of male posters ignore this victim and instead indirectly defends perpetrators such as this?)

It must be from all the pressure to be perfect for salvation and exaltation!

Thank you Jesus!
