PROVO The former BYU student accused of attacking a woman with a stun gun pleaded guilty Tuesday to a lessened degree of aggravated assault.
Stetson Geo Hallam, 20, had been charged with aggravated kidnapping, a first-degree felony, following an April 6 incident that he claimed was an April Fool's joke, according to a police affidavit filed in 4th District Court.
Charges say Hallam, the victim's home teacher in their LDS Church ward, pressured the 19-year-old woman to meet him so he could "give her a gift."
The woman told police Hallam waited outside her Provo apartment for her to return, then asked her to go to a basement laundry room as part of a scavenger hunt.
Once in the room, Hallam attacked her with a Taser-like weapon, pinned her to the ground and tried to handcuff her, the affidavit states. Despite the electric shock, the woman began screaming and fighting back, and at one point bit Hallam's finger, according to court documents. She later told police she thought Hallam was trying to rape her.
After being bitten, Hallam released the woman, apologized, and said it was just an April Fool's joke, the affidavit states. Police found burn marks on the woman's arm from the weapon and a bite mark on Hallam's hand.
Hallam pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and obstruction of justice, second-degree felonies. He is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 9 and faces up to 15 years in prison.

Isn’t that just so strange. .-)
“I HEART Spankings”
LOL!
No need to thank me. It was my pleasure.
No problem here. I wonder what’s up?
No thanks. I’ll pass on the rage. There are plenty of others here who seem to live on it and bait with it though. Might try that route.
panaxanax says: I wasnt kidding when I said that this type of obsession can lead to acting out their hate in the form of personal physical attacks, i.e., a terrorist act. Possibly in the form of bombing a church, kidnapping Mormon children etc. Anything is possible. Let me put it this way, if there were an attack on a church, Colo would be the first to be questioned.
Maybe you can help me. I have looked through panaxanax's posts and can't find this.
Thank you.
I’m not playing, ask him.
But I must say, I love your tagline. I couldn’t have said it better myself. Thanks for that, it’s so true!!

“The world’s great religions all have both peaceful and violent messages from which believers can choose. Religious terrorists and violent extremists share the decision to interpret religion to justify violence, whether they are Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, or Sikh.”
True. However, do you really think the person who was charged as such is that person?
Must go organize a sign wave for Joe Miller.
Have fun.
Blue be careful.
Then you have REMOVED the posts from MORMONs who are complaining about MY religion?
Hating Mormons does not a Christian make...magritte
Hating heresy and exposing it makes... WHAT?
