Unfortunately, some collector approached me a few years ago and I sold the whole works. Should have kept it just for the memories!

ENIAC was where it was at before Assembly Language. You had to be the man to program that machine. (Snorts derisively while working to create a blue pixel on an abacus)

This is a test. Notice the word on the top of the card. Should this have been an actual SSN firing you would be instructed by civil defense on where to seek shelter. We now resume our regular thread.

I remember staying up all night at university to use a keypunch. We has assignments due every Friday morning. At the end of the semester, we would take all the punch cards to the University library and rain them down on the lower levels from the balcony.

“Radio Shack TRS-80 sucks!, Long live Commodore!”
Yea, we didn’t call them “Trash 80’s” for nothing.
Wasn’t it the Commode-door 64 that you could write about 5 lines of code to increase the scan level on the monitor way beyond its critical limit, resulting in the release of its magic smoke minutes after walking away from it?
Personally, I am surfing the inter-webs on my Atari 800. What can you not do with 48k of memory and a tape drive? /s

Remember punch cards used for toll roads? Massachusetts and Maine did in the ‘70s.

If you can’t get by with an abacus then you’re just not doin’ it right.

No fair. Does this mean that I cant go on a PC thread and talk trash about my PC, along with all of the Microsoft products that repeatedly fail on it? ;)I think you can say pretty much anything you want about Bob and Clippy without offending anyone.

you're all noobs....punch cards are itI remember those. Typos were a bitch! I will never forget when I dropped a 5 inch stack of cards (a class project) held together by rubber bands exploded on the floor. Luckily I had an error free printout to hand in.
