“Americans must not be cowed by Muslim objections to cartoons”

By Kathleen Parker Sunday, July 18, 2010

SNIPPET: “You may recall that Norris, once a relatively unknown Seattle cartoonist, was first threatened a few months ago by some bloggers on an obscure Web site, Revolution Muslim, for attempting to draw the prophet Muhammad. More recently, she has been named to an execution list on Inspire, a new online English-language al-Qaeda magazine, which aims to recruit American Muslims for jihad.”

Kathleen Parker is a fool.

From the article.

> things really did become childish as Islamophobes could
> legitimize their own radical tendencies under the guise
> of humor and the umbrella of constitutional protection.

Islamaphobes are people who regard as a threat the “religion” that extolls as the “perfect man” its founder, who lived a life of piracy, pedophilia, polygamy, adultery, rape, kidnapping, slave trading, murder, torture, truce-breaking, genocide; the “religion” whose options for peace are conversion, slavery, or death, with death being most favored by most adherents, and whose penalty for “apostasy”, and pretty much every other “offense”, is death.

We are not Islamaphobes.

We do not fear Islam.

We LOATHE it!

Islam is AGAINST every vestige of Freedom and Liberty.

It is utterly incompatible with the principles that emerged from the Reformation and the Enlightenment, the freedoms of which we enjoy today.

Islam is a cursed, hateful, despotic, tyrannical, monstrous, EVIL MALIGNANCY that threatens the lives and livelihoods of EVERY Freedom Loving American.

As for the repeating H.L. Mencken's snarky remark that Puritanism is “the haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy,” neither he nor Ms. Parker know what they're talking about.

They are enjoying their freedoms today BECAUSE OF the Puritans, NOT in spite of them.

Such ignoramuses should take the time to read “Of Plymouth Plantation” and other historical evidences that the Pilgrims and Puritans were the ones who laid the foundations for the Freedoms they enjoy today.

In those days, people knew that Mohammedanism was INCOMPATIBLE with Freedom and Liberty of conscience, and they had no fear of expressing it.

Now such people are mocked as taciturn, fun-hating “Islamaphobes” by the very people who enjoy the Liberties fostered by our nation's founders.

Kathleen, you may as well get fitted for that Black Burqa right now.

You are well on your way to Capitulation.

That was a stupid sentence in an otherwise good article. She was defending not only the right but the necessity of continuing to publish whatever we want about Islam and Mad Mo.

To be called “Islamaphobea” is to bwe celebrated, as would”Satanphobea” or “Devilphobea”

“You cannot win peace when you surrender to the enemies of peace!”

Thanks Cindy. I went to the July 1st thread and read this:

**3. Teach Muslims the imperative of coexisting peacefully as equals with non-Muslims on an indefinite basis.

**4. Begin comprehensive international programs in mosques all over the world to teach against the ideas of violent jihad and Islamic supremacism.

That. will never happen

“The Jihad Against A Seattle Cartoonist”
by Robert Spencer
10/05/2010

SNIPPET: “It should be front-page news in every newspaper in the country: Seattle cartoonist Molly Norris has given up her job, her home, and even her identity because of death threats for Islamic supremacists. That Islamic jihadists can force an American citizen into hiding for exercising her freedom of speech is bad enough; that her cause has aroused only indifference from the media and the nation’s leading officials is even worse.

Norris was a popular cartoonist for the Seattle Weekly. Her life changed forever a few months ago when she announced “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day” on Facebook. It was a lark, but with a serious point about violent threats and intimidation: if Islamic supremacists were threatening to murder European cartoonists Kurt Westergaard and Lars Vilks because of their cartoons of Muhammad, and anyone else who dared to draw him, then if everyone drew him, the thugs couldn’t possibly kill us all, could they?

And now Norris herself has become a living illustration of how right her point was in the first place, and yet the political and media elites are not standing with her. “On the insistence of top security specialists at the FBI,” the Seattle Weekly explained, “she is, as they put it, ‘going ghost’: moving, changing her name, and essentially wiping away her identity. She will no longer be publishing cartoons in our paper or in City Arts magazine, where she has been a regular contributor. She is, in effect, being put into a witness-protection program–except, as she notes, without the government picking up the tab.””
