Barack Obama's incredible "recess appointment" of Dr. Donald Berwick to head the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is probably the most significant domestic-policy personnel decision in a generation. It is more important to the direction of the country than Elena Kagan's nomination to the Supreme Court.

BTTT
The thing is Berwick’s office can be de-funded by a congress with some guts. Kegan will have her job for life, so we will be stuck with her marxist rulings for decades.
*AHEM* In case you didn't notice, Obama won the election in 2008. That makes him dictator. That means he can do anything he wants. These outdated notions of Constitutional limits to power have been swept away. Please try to keep up.
The arrogance, once again, is just breathtaking.

Wow.
That's quite an indictment.
Max in a rare moment of sobriety!
Abort the young, kill the old, get rid of the sick. Welcome to the new Nazi Germany.
Even as a recess appointment won’t Berwick still have to face eventual Senate confirmation when the Congress reconvenes? While I have little hope that this Senate would do more little more than ask his favorite color and which vampire movie he liked, perhaps some Senators, like Max Baucus, are waking up to the fact that Obama is a Marxist who doesn’t care about balance of powers and wants to transform this country into something like East Germany.
IOW, we need to step up the Liberal indoctrination of the young as the top priority of education.
Afterall, it's all about "the greater good" over individual freedom and choice.
destroy the nation part 2.
It's not bigger than Kagen. All the debate in the world does not matter when they won't talk, or when they do, they lie. Berwicks appointment was only more stealth by a few degrees but his decisions won't change the fabric of American law itself nor will he occupy the office for LIFE . Kagen is a cancer upon the constitution itself!
I’ve posted a thread http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2553687/posts requesting a Socialized Medicine Forum topic so we can put all this stuff under 1 topic to make it easier to find and use. Please chime in.
"A progressive policy regime will control and rationalize financingcontrol supply."
"The unaided human mind, and the acts of the individual, cannot assure excellence. Health care is a system, and its performance is a systemic property."
"Health care is a common goodsingle payer, speaking and buying for the common good."
IOW, the masses will be forced through a system that applies offers what has been deemed to be the standard treatment for what ails them.
If that does it for them, great.
If not, tough.
We're just expected to accept that for the sake of the greater good we've got accept the fact that we don't matter enough not to let drop through the cracks.
This guy needs to get a very rare debilitating disease to remind him of the oath he took as a doctor.
