Spiral galaxies and homopolar motors

Wikipedia describes the concept of a homopolar motor:

A homopolar motor has a magnetic field along the axis of rotation and an electric current that at some point is not parallel to the magnetic field. The name homopolar refers to the absence of polarity change.

Homopolar motors necessarily have a single-turn coil, which limits them to very low voltages. This has restricted the practical application of this type of motor....

...The homopolar motor was the first ever device to produce rotation from electromagnetism itself. It was first built and demonstrated by Michael Faraday in 1821 at the Royal Institution in London...

Ever wonder what makes a spiral galaxy such as our Milky Way spin?

Same basic thing. X-ray telescopes are turning up pictures of the actual center of our galaxy and what the pictures show is a homopolar motor

Numerous other cosmic objects turn out to be the same thing:

The Thunderbolts forum article describes the phenomenon thus:

....A much different thought system sees the electric force as more fundamental than gravity. When considering new images from space, proponents of the Electric Universe emphasize structures that were never anticipated by the gravitational models but that were predicted by plasma cosmologists. As demonstrated in numerous laboratory experiments, electric currents in plasma can produce all of the common structures observed in the heavens, from simple filaments to the polar jets of stars and galaxies to the “wheels within wheels” found at the cores of nebulas and other high-energy formations. ....

It really doesn’t matter which way those motors swing... as long as they are happy. :>)

The seven faculty rules at the University of Woolloomooloo:

1. No poofters.
2. No member of the faculty is to maltreat the “Abos” in any way whatsoever—if there’s anyone watching.
3. No poofters.
4. I don’t want to catch anyone not drinking in their room after lights out.
5. No poofters.
6. There is no... rule six.
7. No poofters.

I always thought this motor was kinda ac/dc.

So... homopolar, bipolar. Sounds like they have a problem, eh?

I have often wondered why galaxies spin. It seems to be due to some sort of gravitational pull, but the Galaxy's themselves are light years apart from their centers to their spiral arms. How can this be if the fastest thing is supposed to be light? How can the center of each Galaxy which is thought to be a black hole, effect something light years away?

Gravity has nothing to do with how spiral galaxies work, that’s the whole point. In fact gravity could not even begin to hold galaxies together given the distances and sizes involved. Other kinds of things which we read about in the media, such as black holes, also turn out to be fiction.

Fascinating. Even nebula act this way. If this is a constant for all charged formations, we may have a glimpse into a unified state.

The exact counter to the speed of light is the speed of dark.

Ok, so what does hold galaxies together? Why do the spiral arms rotate around the center? Why don’t they just fly apart? Why do they look just like a hurricane?

Must be some kind of force not yet determined or explained that I know of. I’ve never heard of a concrete explanation, but then again, I’m just a layman.

Yes, I know the speed of dark well. It’s what is currently leading this country into the abyss.

A homopolar motor

The main propulsion for the Democratic party. And, it appears, for Pakistan.
