Interns Needed for FReeper's Film (Possible Deferred $ =)

Hey there, FRiends...

I'm doing a feature-length documentary this summer and really need some help locating and getting a load of corollary footage.

Although I am not yet going public with the subject and story yet, the film is titled Rebel Evolution, and the ultimate aim of it is a dialogue on the basis and necessity of our freedoms, that liberty is the best guarantor of "social justice".

If the topic (however vague at the moment) inspires you, if the next six weeks have some free time for you, if you have the ability and initiative to help seek out news and archival footage, please let me know. Also, for those in the general Austin area... if you're interested in helping with the shoot, LMK.

A freedom-minded organization is interested in helping with securing funding, so there is a possibility that some cash could come in before too long, so name your price. Film needs to be done by mid-September.

Not necessarily... interest and initiative are though. I have a host of news clips and random footage I need tracked down, located, and, ultimately, available for use in high-res formats.

I'm not sure what you mean by seeking out news and archival footage. Do you mean digging through the websites at the local TV stations? Do you mean digging through YouTube? Do you mean taking a camcorder outside and shooting things?

I'm not very good at searching video on websites, but I'd help if I could. My camcorder is lousy, but I'd film anything that I could.

PS. I was on TV this weekend talking about reptiles. I think this link will work. If you know how to capture the video file, I'd love to get a copy.

I mean any and every way possible to get the best quality footage for a range of incidents. Sometimes just locating it (the date/time/channel something aired) will be most of the battle. Then hopefully we'll be able to get clips under fair use, and pay for what we must. (Trying to keep the budget as low as possible.)

I've started a Google Wave project for anyone interested in helping out. If you want in, send me an e addy and I'll send you an invite. I have the film treatment and synopsis posted there for story background... your input/critique is always appreciated.
