Interns Needed for FReeper's Film (Possible Deferred $ =)

Hey there, FRiends...

I'm doing a feature-length documentary this summer and really need some help locating and getting a load of corollary footage.

Although I am not yet going public with the subject and story yet, the film is titled Rebel Evolution, and the ultimate aim of it is a dialogue on the basis and necessity of our freedoms, that liberty is the best guarantor of "social justice".

If the topic (however vague at the moment) inspires you, if the next six weeks have some free time for you, if you have the ability and initiative to help seek out news and archival footage, please let me know. Also, for those in the general Austin area... if you're interested in helping with the shoot, LMK.

A freedom-minded organization is interested in helping with securing funding, so there is a possibility that some cash could come in before too long, so name your price. Film needs to be done by mid-September.

The person who is the main subject of the film is quite controversial and has amassed quite a few enemies, thus the reason I don't want to get too in-depth in public (I think some lefties are also trying to make a film on this person, but only we have full access and co-operation... and it's a fight to the finish... hence my deadline.)

That sounds like a lot of the foundation for The TruthProject.org. Don't know if you've fallen over it yet in your travels, but our church is halfway through the series and the content is foundational to the founding of the American Republic. It might give you some ideas as to slant, direction, and tone.

Keep pinging your list with specifics what you need and your current logistics with the effort.

By all means, add me to your list, and though my attitude is that of a curmudgeonly old newspaperman [retired, more or less] I'll help you with your visual-media efforts as much as I can.

Shucks, we've got a whole state full of the surt of uppity Rebels in Wyoming who might be the sort you'd have an interest in, and more than a couple are characters, indeed. Some are originally from the Cowboy state, and some have arrived more recently.

Beats the cold pizza and peanut butter 'n jelly sandwiches we got when making Hard Rain [working title was The Flood in Huntingburg, Indiana in 1998.
