I talked to the principal at the local school and he is going to help me get Marissa transferred prior to the start of school.
To transfer, we need approval from both school boards. He suggested that I contact the new school and tell them the transfer will be approved by them and ask them to put it on the agenda. One board meets on the second and the other on the 4th. I told him that I would pick it up and deliver it to the new district.
I’m starting to feel a little more confident that it this transfer will be timely.

Well, daddy was never "Lost At Sea", but he DID fall off the boat once, into the NORTH ATLANTIC, and had to tread water until the captain turned the boat around to pick him up. No Small feat for a sailing vessel of that size.
