OMG! I just don’t know what to say, but I’m sooooooooooooo sorry about losing your husband. My Uncle’s 3rd wife passed away while they were on a cruise. It was so sad, as well! *HUGS” to you!!

Remember worrying if his ears would ever stand up straight.

I'm still worrying about d'Ogee's ears
After almost 14yrs.
LOL!

Right! But it just doesn’t much matter that her ears didn’t go up, like I thought they would AND she got bigger than I thought she would, but I love her BECAUSE of her being her. I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old. Don’t know where the time has gone and she has slowed down alot and has accidents. This is now the second dog I’ve had in baby diapers. Anything to keep her around longer!

I remember when you and I first talked about this and I felt so horrible about it. It is truly one of the saddest stories I know. God Bless you, Meg, you were so strong and made it through eventually. There are many twists and turns in this life and some things we never understand but we can’t question God! But we do wonder why and just can’t help it!

When my husband was in the Navy and we were newlyweds, living in Portsmouth, Va., my cousin Nancy and her husband, who was in the Army, were stationed at Fort Eustis, Va. Her husband was on the training field (I don’t know the technicalities of this training) but I do know he was head of a group of soldiers and a hand grenade had fallen and he fell on top of it and of course was blown up, but saved many lives. She was expecting their first child and that was one of the saddest events of my young life. I just couldn’t come to grips with it for a long time.

Not long after that, we were transferred to the Naval Mine Depot at Yorktown, Va. and our first son was born at the Army Hospital in Fort Eustis! Another twist and turn! Its good sometime to remember all those things.

The final tally is in! The celebrating/fireworks/jumping up and down/screaming/yelling, can start NOW!

DOGS WIN! (On Caturday, yet!)
Dogs - 5
Cats - 2
Dogs AND Cats - 2

Of course, we did have several votes that weren't legal -
But, who cares? We're just following O'Bummer's lead! LOL!

YAY, DOGS!!!

(And thank you everybody,
For your participation!)
It was FUN!

~Welcome To Sunday At Amy's Place~

Be still, My child, and know that I am God!
Wait thou patiently—I know the path you trod.
So falter not, nor fear, nor think to run and hide,
For I, thy hope and strength, am waiting by thy side.
—Hein

HAPPY LORD'S DAY TO MY FRIENDS AT FR

Been limping along for a few months BUT...LOVE my mac & how easy it is to reformat/reinstall OS & put all back on

well, the Genius squad did the first two & I did the last with the wonderful system of Time Machine Backups.. was in shock that even my desktop pix of Oliver was still there. Awesome. Thanks to bro Duane for pushing me to DO IT === the Time Machine. The culprit was apparently a OS with some corruption

Have a lot of photo & video work to catch up on & my pix from friend John's party last weekend still in camera!

I only wish my allergies & old & broken body were as easy to fix. My sprained wrists are healing but it in not a quick fix.. weeks..

The weather here has not been my ideal (understatement). Ohio has a lot of good things going for it. Weather is NOT among those good things

Lots going on here.. My biggest problems seems to be able to keep tract of things & REMEMBER Them

ran into Chris Jent at lunch the other day & had a great chat.. (for those who might not know name.. he is a Cav's coach).. what a class act he is!

Movies, movies, movies.. remain a great activity & ability to breath great air, since our air conditioner is not working..this has been another banner year for Cinema IMHO

I have seen them all (even independents.. and Inception 4 times!) .. let me know if you want any recommendations

a few summer quick trips & planning for fall..

Have a great Lord's Day all..
