Thank you! Hope you could enjoy the tune, too!
Yes, my son is in the Air Force and is presently stationed
at Tinker AFB in OK. Actually, he is on a 6-month TDY to the
middle east at this time, but will be home very soon. Then
they MIGHT be moving (crossing fingers and toes for them)
to Hawaii, to Hickham Field there.

To All The Cat~People Of Amy's Place
A Kitten's Conundrum

When it comes to Naps, if one is a Kitten
Any place at all is certainly fitting
As long as it looks comfortable to the Kitten desiring Sleep
Stretched out, curled up or plopped down in a heap
With gentle fluid curves replacing angles
Draped placidly atop a comfy Chair with paws a~dangle
It doesnt take much for a Kitten to seek some rest
Only to be found in the oddest places, as Humans will attest
With eyes closed just above a triumphant winsome smile
The Kitten is in total luxurious repose, but just for awhile
Prostrate, prone or poured like a thick liquid filling a niche
The Kitten turns off its rambunctious escapades as quick as a switch
Re~charging its Purr Box and Internal Batteries for later in the day
Unless the need for another Nap suddenly gets in the way

Thank you for the poem Uncle Jack,
I have just come from my bath.
My Pretty One mumbled something about fleas,
And I know she was not one bit pleased!
No matter how much I whined..
She then insisted on "Frontline"!

Hi, MS.B!
Here's something for Minette!
Ground Rules Haiku

Midnight Predator
cares not a whit for baths. Your
Pretty One knows best
A bath should not be
hot. No warmer than the air that
surrounds your soft fur
Fleas dislike water
even more than Cats do. It
takes away their home
Soap is for below
your shoulders and never rubbed
too vigorously
Rinse away the soap
with lots of cool water while
gentle fingers massage
You should be allowed
time to shake yourself dry and
calm down just a bit
'Frontline' is good stuff!
Better than a Flea & Tick Collar any day
'Frontline' goes where you
can't reach for a reason. That's
why it works so well
You will wash yourself
after the bath, anyway.
No one needs to know

Allergic To . . .
July 17, 2010
One of our grandchildren is allergic to several kinds of foods. Milk, cheese, eggs, and ice cream are among the items she has to avoid. Even a small amount of these things is detrimental to her health.
Shes not alone in being required to avoid certain things in life. While her allergies are related to her physical well-being, each of us as believers in Jesus has dangers we need to stay away from to maintain spiritual health. Scripture gives us a clear indication of what we are allergic to spiritually.
Every kind of evil (1 Thess. 5:22). This should cause us to think about the choices we make, because taking part in what is clearly evil is not good for our spiritual vitality.
Foolish disputes and arguments (2 Tim. 2:23; Titus 3:9). This takes discernment, for some arguments have merit in defending the faith. But those for which there is no answer or which have no bearing on truth only cause dissension.
Sexual immorality (1 Thess. 4:3). The Bible says that any sexual activity outside the boundaries of a marriage between a man and a woman is immoral (Gen. 2:24; Ex. 20:14; 1 Cor. 7:2; Heb. 13:4).
Are we willing to make the effort to steer clear of things we are spiritually allergic to?
Today avoid sins tempting lures
And evil thoughts subdue,
Or sinful things may take control
And someday master you! Bosch
To avoid sin, nip it in the bud of temptation.
Read: Titus 3:3-11

Is there any news on Millie? (Maybe I missed it - I wasn’t online all day yesterday - but feeling much better today.)
To: yorkie; All

Good morning, Yorkie.
They removed the tumor yesterday. When I called at 4:00, they said she was fine but would be spending the night. We will pick her up this morning. The vet said that sometimes these tumors come back so we will just watch her.
I'm happy the gardener was here yesterday; there was no way that MrJust and I could have gotten her in the pickup. The gardener helped MrJust pick up. She was pretty good until she got inside the office. The vet came out in the parking lot to help us with her. She was fine on the leash until she got inside the waiting room Then she sat down and he had to drag her into the examining room. She did not mind the ride until she discovered the destination.
Max really missed her; she has always been here with him. He would look in at us and bark. When Marissa got home, she went out and just sat with him for awhile. JR and MrJust will bring her home this morning. We will all be happy to have her home.
I hope to get the Opening posted soon.
Happy Caturday, everyone.
