What my plan was when I created the ZOT
(and how I ended up) ^ | June 28, 2010 | Lord Dagon

Posted on 06/28/2010 12:43:57 PM PDT by DagonofAlbion

I deposit the Risk into the account of a dummy finance company for management, called the republican party.

Then, I deposit the damage into the account of a dummy corporation for control, called the democratic party.

I leave all the bible belt religions as spoilers, or third parties; putting them down as department store chains. To stave off the profit into the mints money burning facility, to insure that the money is worthless in terms of pragmatic value, and is only practical believed values.

And the Black market is pimped as bad but, even losing even your kindeys in a hotel bathtub on a drunk, is a value laundering scheme...

Thank you all for your input and participation!!!

"She gave us a donation for the parish festival, too. My prayer group is running the raffles this year."

Should I let you know now what I'd like my prizes to be?

Of course! Then you have to come to the festival and buy tickets, and Mexican food, and artsy-crafts, and used books, and a pie.

Sounds worth it, but not for the prizes.

By the way, I’m fixin’ to take a trip directly.

So if I get kinda quiet, it doesn’t mean I’m up to no good.

...

Well actually, it does mean that, but I’ll be back to normal before you can say, “Bob’syouravuncularacquaintance”.

Needless slaughter. Good movie.

Ooookay! Here's a reviewer not in alignment with my heretic tastes. *\;-)

En Español? I joined the R&D group for Friday Lunch Out at the nearby Mexican restaurant. I was the only one to order in Spanish; naturally the waitress came back with questions in Spanish that I could not understand. (And my Mexican Spanish phrasebook was at home.)

Later the fact that I know some Gàidhlig came up -- I made a comment or two but nobody attempted to kill me so I know they didn't understand. *\;-)

They were killing Commie Mexican types.

Only partway. The parts spoken by Spanish people, mostly. And Stallone, who has a decent accent.

Prior to reworking ad smoothing:

“Through these doors sits some of the greatest genetic research discoveries ever conceived, what I am showing you, yu did not see.” The adult rabbitoid seemed to exude a barely hidden menace, the Inquisitor couldn’t put his finger on it.
“So why are you bringing me in there?” he wondered aloud.
“Because in there is where we have to go, you’ll see.”
The outer set of doors slid shut behind them, a cycle timed out, and the inner doors opened to reveal a vast space before them.
Row upon row of vats, equipment, computers, lab tables, and a large agriculture area containing the unmodified offspring of the original genetic material stock.
Overhead loomed several floors of enclosed catwalks, and one singularly non-rabitoid face was glimpsed briefly in one window.
“I thought there were only rabbits and Doctor Lee here. But I swear I just saw-”
“You saw who I am taking you to. Her name is Silash. Have you ever heard of the Sireenians?” The rabbitoid looked sideways at him.
“They were supposedly extinct. And they built-” the Inquisitor cut himself off.
The Sireenians were a technologically advanced race living further down the Orion Arm of the galaxy from Sol, they’d built vast arrays of hyperspace gates, mere relics of days gone by now.
If there were any still around, it would be a monumental discovery, so much could be learned, so much history to discover.
“Doctor Lee repaired the gate, and repaired this facility as well. This facility was built long ago to house the remaining population from the Sireenian homeworld. Their star went nova, and the survivors were scattered before the destruction. That’s why nobody ever found their home planet. It was destroyed.”
“So he wasn’t alone here.”
“No, he accidentally awoke some of the Sireenians during the course of his work. Much of the machinery here was already in place before he came. And much of what he used to create us was already here.”
The Inquisitor chewed on this thought for awhile.
The Sireenians had built the facility as a doomsday bunker?
“How many more Sireenians are here?”
“We would number at roughly three billion if we were all woken and sent fourth.” a musical voice chimed from behind him.
The rabbitoid bowed slightly towards the source of the voice.
“No need to bow to me Matthew Cosfhota. I am no god, you know that.” the Inuisitor turned to look at a humanoid shaped form topped by a long neck that supported a long graceful head.
Long hair curled downward from the crown, rimming yellowish almost feline eyes.
She leaned on a staff, giving an appearance of a mage from some fairytale.
“I merely show you respect, elder.” Matthew said, some humor tinged his voice.
“I’m not that old, unless you count the years spent in hibernation.” a fragile seeming hand reached out and patted Matthew on his forehead.
“Shall we get the meeting underway?” Silash gestured towards a lift.
“Meeting?” the Inquisitor began to worry some, obviously there were plans in motion that he knew nothing about but figured prominantly in!

I don’t think they’re having a large cash drawing. At least, nothing’s been mentioned at the committee meetings.

Bruce, the wispy little white-haired guy, runs 50/50 cash drawings - he sells tickets until he’s tired (I guess), and then draws a ticket, and the winner gets half the money.

I wouldn’t understand if you told me to pound sand in Gaelic.

If it has commie-killing in it, rrrod will like it. What’s the title?

Trotskyites? But I do not have a good ear for the variations of Latin American Spanish. I hear differences but can't tell who is from where -- unlike LoM.

It might help to be conversant with the language, which I am not. As a boy spending a summer with my grandfather in Mexico I learned just enough to buy a lot of dangerous fireworks with my meager allowance.

Have to disagree about that being needless slaughter.

But I think I know what movie we are going to this weekend.

Anoreth has not given us the title. And I will not request that thou shouldest poundeth sand in Gaelic-- 1) no reason to, and 2) you wouldn't understand. *\;-)

But I am tired; my next trip out is but 36 hours away.

I’m the same - I can hear the differences in regional usage of Spanish, but I can’t tell just from the words or accent where they’re from.

I can tell Puerto Ricans from their accent when they speak English, and most of them are light-skinned and well-educated. Colombians speak Spanish but look and dress like Europeans. Peruvians look like Inca stone-carvings, and Central Americans, often, like Mayas. Some of the Mexicans’ faces are straight off the Aztec ruins in Mexico City, with lovely bronze skin. Black Spanish-speakers are probably Dominican or Panamanian.

For purely good-looking people, I’d pick Salvadorans and Costa Ricans. They hit the genetic jackpot, somehow, although not the socio-political (or geologic) one.

A gal moved in here in the last month or so with the same last name as mine...(maiden name, same as mine is.) She is from some place in Central America...I want to say San Salvador, but ~

I need to check and see if we have relatives in common because the last name is not so common there.

"... at least we won’t have to worry about your demise, for now. Unless we do."

Oh, ha-ha! You certainly don't have to worry about that! It's a dead certainty. To coin a phrase.

I have arrived at my undisclosed destination. Don't tell anyone.

Communication may be spotty. I'll try to check in when I can.
