A few of you have been asking what became of me after I retired from radio (850 KOA in Denver) to return to the GWOT. This is just a brief update and thank you for asking.
I am in Iraq working in counterterrorism. Since I left KOA I have always worked in Pakistan and the Congo. That's about all I can say.

I don’t take it for granted and it’s humbling, when I think I’m tired from working a 60 hour week at my office, to think about you guys and how your jobs are 1,000% harder and riskier than mine PLUS you don’t get to go home at night or on weekends. I pray for you every morning when I’m walking my dog as the sun comes up - I have that luxury and I am so grateful for the freedoms I get to enjoy while our troops are far from home. God bless you.
