As has been speculated for about a week now, Eliot Spitzer and Kathleen Parker will be paired up as co-hosts of a new 8pmET spirited, nightly roundtable discussion program on CNN.
The Crossfire-like show replaces Campbell Browns program which she announced she was leaving last month.
Lets take a look at the key players. Spitzer was a surprise regular guest on Dylan Ratigans new MSNBC show starting almost one year ago today. Over this past year hes risen through the ranks at MSNBC and began anchoring occasionally a couple months ago during news hours. He also, of course, is the former Democratic Governor of New York and Client 9.
Parker is a conservative columnist and regular pundit on a variety of networks. She memorably called on Sarah Palin to drop out as VP candidate during the 2008 election a column that to this day has some conservatives calling her Republican In Name Only.

Dead in the water
At least Spitzer is in a place where we can ignore him. I hope the program is moderately successful enough that he spends the rest of his career there.
Communist News Network’s idea of balance — Parker on the left and Spitzer on the far left.

CNN is history, as usual.
who is Spritzer???
My fisrt thought was, “this has to be from the Onion.”
Give him a couple of weeks, and the show will be about him chasing RINO Parker around the desk....
Spitzer is too ugly for TV.
Resurrecting another cretin who needs to just go away.
I’d say I spitzered coffee all over my keyboard but that would sound gross.
Will Eliot be telling us how buy a real high class hooker with state funds? Anything on his love of back door action?
One hoo-er for a another hoo-er.
You have to wonder what Parker’s husband and children think about her agreeing to be Eliot Spitzer’s “work wife.”
seriously? he’s the disgraced NY governor who resigned after paying hookers for sex in a DC hotel......we now have the blind governor.
So they are going to reward this slime bag with a lucrative contract/and TV program for his whoring around, and a supposedly respectable woman has agree to co-host it. What does that say about her? What does that say about CNN? Definite shortage of shame and decency on all sides.
