The Coming Depression...Not the Economy
madison10 | June 19, 2010 | madison10

Posted on 06/19/2010 7:17:00 PM PDT by madison10

It's finally getting to me, this change in my country. Life is just not how it used to be and will never be that way again. There have been other life changes--my husband's more-or-less forced retirement, October 2008 at a job that is in the finance industry with the subsequent cutback in hours, and that wonderful time in a woman's life when everything sort of sags and stops.

Worst of all is the breakneck speed at which the norms, traditions, and the Constitution have been shoved aside for some young, upstart, radical Communist's agenda, czars, and that d*&*ED executive order pen. That is depressing because there seems to be no way to change the headlong plunge or even slow it down. November 2010? HAH! As if they'll let a real election occur. Most of those-called "Republicans" in Congress aren't helping either. Where are the real, USA-loving, Law-abiding MEN? Where are their principles?

I want things to go back to the way they were, but that's not going to happen---that is majorly depressing. Freddie, Fannie and their puppeteers ruined that scenario, not only for the U.S., but for the planet. Hope they are proud of themselves...

Okay, that's it, needed to rant. Thanks.

I thought you were joking, but you truly are crazy. Man, I’m sorry for upsetting your apple cart.

Yeah, I'm crazy enough to have the courage to stand up for my country, and to call you out for your anti-American statements.

So you refuse to take a stand. Instead, you intend to sit among proud patriots, calmly, and deliberately planting seeds of doubt and defeatism in their minds.

You made a public statement here tonight that you believe our country is lost, yet you don't have the courage to back that up by stating what you intend to do about it.

You are a coward of the worst sort. Instead of simply running away from the fight, you encourage others to lay down their arms by poisoning their minds with your defeatist drivel.

Thank you for admitting to everyone what you really are.

“...a majority of the U.S. military will not kill American civilians, and will fight that part of the military and police who will.”

.
That’s news to me, I never heard that. I hope you’re right.

I choose NOT to get depressed about things over which I have absolutely NO control. I’ll be positive and live my life that way. But I will make sure to keep myself educated, and educate others around me. And I’ll make sure to vote against the libs in Nov. of 2010 and 2012, and encourage as many others to do so as I can.

The time to rise up collectively is right now.

Only a collectivist would say that.

yeah sure. the accusers of the brethren...nice touch there. I just love how some of the “devout christians” like to talk the talk while letting others do their walking for them...then take credit for inspiring and motivating those that walk the walk. Its just so inconceivable to them that there are some christians that stay home on sundays because we can’t stand the hypocrisy, yet are there in the thick of it when needed WITHOUT your “motivation”. Jesus does not live in your church. He lives in my house.

It’s a chess match. like it or not, that is what we are in. A good chess player is playing 5 moves(or more) ahead of the game play. Therefore, what we do right now may not be as important as you think. just my opinion.

>The place to start restoring America and the West is the home.

Agreed.

>Until that is straightened out we will continue to see the downward spiral of all aspects of our society until our death wish is granted in full. To change the trend people will have to make life-affirming decisions that are not popular with the culture at large.

I agree. My assessment though comes from the mentality that the general citizenry have regarding the government.
Just because they are corrupt doesn’t preclude the Stockholm Syndrome theory; in fact, it could be that [some of] the corruption is the result of embracing some ideology because the captor (the government) allows/believes it themselves; abortion is a good example, government mandated that it was moral [and a “right”] despite an overwhelming disagreement with the population which, over time, grew to accept and embrace it. (Though it is interesting to see that there is a resurgence of anti-abortion sentiment in the population.)

>A large enough group of conservative, life-minded individuals can make the difference.

I agree. I never said they couldn’t.
This piece is, like I said earlier, my theory.

The left has succeeded in destroying the men of this land. If this country is to be saved, it will be saved by the women, not the men. I came to this realization within the last 6 months.

Face it. You had your opportunity to take a principled stand, but you punked out instead.

You’re confirming it now with the snide ad hominem attacks.

You would also know that the strong delusion has been sent - hence, nothing makes sense anymore...and it's going to get worse.

Could you please tell me what the strong delusion was? Thank you.

Jimmuh Dhimmi Carter brought us Ronald Reagan.

Obama can bring us Sarah Palin / Michelle Bachmann -- if we pull together.

Cheers!

I hope so. The internet is forever, you know. You're now on record as being a worthless coward and a sellout to your country.

Enjoy your new-found status.

Fair enough, but you also have to try to imagine what force on earth could overwhelm 90 million gun-owning Americans, holding 200 million firearms. Americans that will raise those arms if they ever believe that they nothing left to lose.

Factor that into the chess moves.

Well said.

Joshua 24:15

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

I hope it’s true, too.

When they were called on not to arrest tens of thousands of people who were preventing the murder of babies at abortion clinics, only several cops in the whole country refused to assist in getting the doors open for the abortionists.

NO bishop in the U.S. ever issued a pastoral letter instructing the cops that it was a sin to be an accomplice to murder.

Evidently, the question was just too complex for them.

technology.

when the government has the technology to know every aspect of your life through cyber space, and law enforcement has machines to see through walls, through clothes, and detect life and metal, your silly firearms won’t be worth spit.

when there are cameras built into every single electronic gadget in the world and there are supercomputers capable of accessing all that every camera sees, your silly firearms won’t be worth spit.

When there are robots roaming the streets that can scan brainwaves to read thoughts and identify people by scanning their eyes and reading their dna, your silly firearms won’t be worth spit.

When your car and your house have their own brains and think for themselves and can be controlled by big brother, your silly firearms won’t be worth spit.

When the pentagon can implant viruses into insects that enable a super computer to remotely control the mind of those infected insects and see what the insect sees, your silly firearms won’t be worth spit.

When money ceases to exist and trade is done via accessing your cyber account which is encrypted and secured by the world bank, your silly firearms wont be worth spit.

When food is not allowed to be produced by “amateurs” for the safety of our world food supply, your firearms won’t be worth spit.

When artificial intelligence becomes cheaper than human intelligence, your life won’t be worth spit.

Plan your moves now for this inevitable future. Not for your sake, but for those that will come after you. Communists don’t think like us. We think 4 years in advance for some things, and 12 months in advance for most things. Communists think 40 years in advance.
