Hawaiian elections clerk has eligibility 'solution'g
WorldNutDaily | 06/17/10 | Polarik

The former Honolulu elections clerk who maintains President Obama was not born in Hawaii and has no birth certificate from any hospital in the Aloha State is promoting a simple way to resolve the uproar over eligibility, at least for the future.

Tim Adams, 45, senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in the 2008 campaign, says all candidates for all offices should be required to prove their identity and eligibility before they can even run.

"The easiest way would be to pass legislation saying everyone has to verify their identity when they're running for office," Adams told WND in an exclusive interview last week. "I do think requiring everyone to certify their identity would probably solve the entire controversy."

Adams stresses the requirement should be for all political contests, from the presidency down to local races, to make sure officeholder-wannabes are who they to make sure officeholder-wannabes are who they say they are, and live in the proper district, for instance."

About the most ridiculous and redundant statement ever made about Obama's eligibility issue. The last time there was a federal law dictating who could run for office at a local level, it excluded Blacks, Irish, and Asians.

Need any more proof of how far WND has sunk?

You think a law requiring someone to show identity is the same as a law banning people of different races from running?

I don’t understand the resistance to eligibility requirement laws. I think its foolish to want this to be about Obama when the flaw will continue to exist.

The BC issue isn’t going anywhere because those who want Obama gone the most have dug themselves in so deeply that they can’t see the problem. Its why I’ve mostly walked away from the issue.

Ditto, I don't consider myself a birther at all (more like a neither, people are clinging to too much crap in hope for change) but stuff like this is common sense, if, for anything, the security clearance background check.

I all due respect, sir, that is EXACTLY what we need, a clear definition of Natural Born Citizen that is clearly stated in the law in current language that cannot be fudged by politicians and their attorneys. And with it, a requirement that contenders for any elective office show proof of their eligibility before they are allowed to put their names on the ballot. This has nothing to do with race, only with citizenship and eligibility.

I’m a birther from way back but I don’t see the point of doing anything if we’re going to let the flaw continue to exist.

The law failed in Arizona because the left successfully tied it directly to Obama.

It's only common sense to have candidates prove who they are. We have to do that for most things. Except running for office apparently. Ordinary citizens need proof of identity (to get a phone, turn on electric, pay by check) but politicians get a pass. Makes no sense.

Being POTUS is a job, POTUS gets a paycheck.

We pay to hire a POTUS, its our right to hire a qualified eligible person with bonifide credentials.

Obama appears to be nothing much more than a day laborer picked up at a Home Depot parking lot, and that person has the most powerful job on earth?

Somebody tell me if this is bizarro world.

Once I get past the shameless promotion and salesmanship, I respect WND for being willing to make noise about things that are sure to get them ridiculed, even by other conservatives. This does result in some misfires, no doubt about it. But I won't stop checking their site. The are especially courageous on the BC issue, which smells to high heaven.

Linda Bentley wrote an article showing that the law requires federal employees to show their birth certificate in order to get a federal paycheck. Like just about everything with government, though, the problem is that the law has never been actually FOLLOWED for Cogress-critters and higher. Far be it from them to live by the same requirements that us low-lifes have to live by - even if the law demands it.

That’s why this is more than just fixing the legal requirements (although that is a good first start) and really is an issue of the rule of law. We can pass the best laws in the world, but if nobody enforces them - and if there is no way for we the people to FORCE them to be enforced - then we’re no better off than if there was no law.

Those who want to give up on this issue because they see it as just being about Obama really need to think about the lawlessness that got us here. Obama himself is just a tiny footnote in the grander scheme. In order for him to be able to get away with his total lies he had to have government, media, and law enforcement at every level turn their eyes and/or outright break laws.

I was ready to call it quits on this issue until I started dealing with the Hawaii DOH and realized the corruption it took to perpetrate this absolute fraud. If it was just about Obama himself I’d say we could wait it out until he’s gone. But getting rid of him isn’t going to make the media honest - isn’t going to stop them from MAKING FORGERIES, for instance. It’s not going to make bureaucrats follow the laws. And it’s not going to give we the people the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances or make law enforcement stop being a prop for corrupt politicians.

We are in a fight for the very rule of law. The nation watched in horror as the healthcare reform battle waged, knowing that it didn’t matter what the actual laws and rules say about how the process was supposed to work; it only mattered what the dems were bold enough to try, while nobody could do anything to stop them. We saw them change locks on doors in order to keep the legal process from ever having to be done.

Take that level of lawlessness and apply it to every county clerk, every borough, every town, every government office in America.... and you begin to realize what we are facing right now. If we don’t find a voice and put a stop to this crap we will deserve what we get.

At the same time as I’ve been doing battle with the HDOH, my sisters and brother have been doing battle with a corrupt school board that violated the open meetings laws at least 14 times in order to pass a bond vote that will bankrupt every farmer in the area. The Supreme Court ignored all the legalities in order to say that the issue was really about how the election turned out, and they can’t overturn an election. IOW, as long as you can con the voters, you can do whatever criminal actions you want - including perjury - and no judicial or law enforcement body will have the nuts to bat an eyelash.

Kinda brought it right home to me. This isn’t some far-off, hypothetical issue. The lawlessness I’m fighting is right down to neighbor against neighbor, and it will absolutely tear the fabric of this nation to shreds if we don’t stop it. As we watch our cities and towns infiltrated by Mexican drug lords who have no qualms about sewing their enemies’ faces onto a soccer ball and who pattern their methods after the people who beheaded Daniel Perle on videotape for the whole world to see.... we will either wake up in time to stop it, or we will die with an ignorant smile on our face.

EXACTLY ---

What could be clearer than Article II of the Constitution and yet to date not one Congresscritter is willing to state unequivocably that Obama meets those Article II qualifications and is a "natural born citizen".

If they won't abide by the Constitution, then just what makes us think that they will abide by a lowly state or federal statute that will be so riddled with enough vagueries and loopholes to drive a train of frauds and usurpers through.

We are being ruled by the lawless who are above the law that they expect others to live by.

Tim was the senior elections clerk in Honolulu. How well did he do in that respect???

What did he do to object to a Kenyan national being on the ballot??? Anything???

He failed just like all the other government officials who are only interested in going along to get their paycheck and making no waves even in the face of outright fraud that they are supposed to stand against.

We have a clear definition of NBC: born on US soil to two US citizen parents - but libs have their own lexicon, and to them, NBC means born on US soil. This is the reason why they continue to misquote the 14th Amendment.

As usual, I don’t think these aims are mutually exclusive.

We need to shovel Obama out of the White House for riding into it on the basis of forged documents and criminal conspiracy. But we also need to tighten up the process so it won’t happen again.

Otherwise, congress in the future is going to be flooded with illegal aliens. Count on it.
