You think a law requiring someone to show identity is the same as a law banning people of different races from running?

About the most ridiculous and redundant statement ever made about Obama's eligibility issue. The last time there was a federal law dictating who could run for office at a local level, it excluded Blacks, Irish, and Asians.

I all due respect, sir, that is EXACTLY what we need, a clear definition of Natural Born Citizen that is clearly stated in the law in current language that cannot be fudged by politicians and their attorneys. And with it, a requirement that contenders for any elective office show proof of their eligibility before they are allowed to put their names on the ballot. This has nothing to do with race, only with citizenship and eligibility.

Being POTUS is a job, POTUS gets a paycheck.

We pay to hire a POTUS, its our right to hire a qualified eligible person with bonifide credentials.

Obama appears to be nothing much more than a day laborer picked up at a Home Depot parking lot, and that person has the most powerful job on earth?

Somebody tell me if this is bizarro world.

Once I get past the shameless promotion and salesmanship, I respect WND for being willing to make noise about things that are sure to get them ridiculed, even by other conservatives. This does result in some misfires, no doubt about it. But I won't stop checking their site. The are especially courageous on the BC issue, which smells to high heaven.

Tim Adams, 45, senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu in the 2008 campaign, says all candidates for all offices should be required to prove their identity and eligibility before they can even run.

Tim was the senior elections clerk in Honolulu. How well did he do in that respect???

What did he do to object to a Kenyan national being on the ballot??? Anything???

He failed just like all the other government officials who are only interested in going along to get their paycheck and making no waves even in the face of outright fraud that they are supposed to stand against.

I heard that Tim Adams hates kittens, puppies and hybrid cars!

As usual, I don’t think these aims are mutually exclusive.

We need to shovel Obama out of the White House for riding into it on the basis of forged documents and criminal conspiracy. But we also need to tighten up the process so it won’t happen again.

Otherwise, congress in the future is going to be flooded with illegal aliens. Count on it.

If state ID laws passed, Obama would present a copy of his Hawaii Certification of Live Birth along with a letter from the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health stating that he is a natural born citizen and a notarized transcript of the Republican Govenor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle declaring that Obama was born at Kapi’olani Medical Center.
Whatever proof of birth that is accepted for the issuance of a US passport is an official birth document according to federal law and the Hawaii COLB is accepted for passports.

The state of Hawaii even created an internet FAQ just about Obama’s birth documents:
http://hawaii.gov/health/vital-records/obama.html

“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawai‘i State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama
was born in Hawai‘i and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement
or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.”

Obama’s most ardent political opponents may not accept any of the above as proof, but Judges and Justices sure have.
Eight different Obama eligibility lawsuit appeals have been rejected for hearings by the US Supreme Court.

What?? I’ve been saying this since way before Adams appeared!

I went even farther and said that 0bagger won’t run in ‘12!! Some SoSs will require proof of eligibility from ALL candidates, especially if the republicans grow some stones and run a naturalized citizen against him. When that citizen is refused a place the ballot, he/she will have “STANDING” to sue and demand leveling the playing field!!

If this happens, it won’t be called ridiculous. A ruling to solve the eligibility issue will have to come about.

“At the request of his university, Adams is now declining any further comment on the matter.”

Guess Adams didn’t count on being labeled a white-supremacist criminal.

What a novel idea!

“all candidates for all offices should be required to prove their identity and eligibility before they can even run”

Texas GOP platform

The platform also caters to “birthers” by requiring a birth certificate for presidential candidates.
