Good morning gardeners. It looks like from all the pictures and comments that most of your gardens are coming along great. My garden is about three weeks behind where it was last year at this time but all is well and it is coming along fine.

I’m in western Pa and we’ve got slugs galore as well! Yuk!
Loved it! Thanks for the link! I’ve already e-mailed it to family!
Supposedly a saucer of beer will attract and kill them.
Or, more expeditiously, a beer can with some left in it.
Tried it...didn’t work....tried “safe” little snail pellets too....didn’t work....I think the snails are so small they don’t bother with that stuff....they just eat greens...
Can you put salt on something circular above where you plant the seed? Like an orange slice with the center cut out?
Too dry where I live to have slugs, none to kill.
Re: parsley. I planted some last year which is not doing anything but bolting. So if I plant a brand new batch this year, then I should be set because every other year, one of the plants would be producing, right?
Is this the same for coriander?
Well the SUN came out!
Looks promising for Sat. in the Sun Day for us!
My hot dog is sitting here on my lap basting in the warm sunshine coming through the open window (my perch butts up against the window).
Hey I asked our neighbor friend if she had any blueberry plants at her place and she said yeah but she didn’t plant them in a sunny enough place so they never grew/produced.
However she clued me into a real local bluberry farm that would be do able (no bending) for me to go u pick. : )
I called the Davis Family farm I travel to in the valley and asked how their tomatoes (my fave food) are doing.
To early to tell they wont be ready untill August.
But their hydro toes are not bad at all.
And I can pick up strawberries.
I feel a road trip coming. : )
oh my goodness i am speechless! how beautiful!!! Your wife did all that? My goodness! Your yard is just gorgeous. You need to buy her something wonderful for keeping things so beautiful!
BTW, what is the dark blue/purple plants?
My garden is about 3 weeks ahead of where it should be.
Strawberries are in a full two weeks early in CNY.
My tomatoes and green peppers are blooming. There have been years where we couldn’t even safely plant until the first weekend of June, so this is GREAT for us.
That is Lobelia Crystal Palace I believe and she bought a few of those as they are a bear to start from seed and she doesn’t need many...
That is gorgeous.......
Thanks, Red_Devil232!
LOVED it! :)
Those grow bags are probably 3 feet tall and 2 feet across? It’s dark out now; I’m not going out by the bats to measure them, LOL!
I will seed fall lettuces counting backwards from October 31st, depending upon what the growing length of the varieties are.
but tomorrow....its going to be warm,70's......my plants are so ready for it...
I can’t believe that you’ve got crops already and your beans and squash are about “done”.....my beans are about 4” tall.....lol
she’s a keeper....
I'm with you....I am a tomatoe freak.....juice, in salads, with cottage cheese, or sliced up with mozzarella cheese and a drizzle of olive oil....or just cut up with some red wine vinegar or balsamic...all good...
that is spectacular!
this year I'm concentrating on keeping them watered and using miracid....
