Well, you can learn a little about the Minow family in this thread; Martha Minow is now the Dean of Harvard Law.

Similarly, Elena Kagan preceded Martha Minow as the Dean at Harvard; you can learn all about her youthful communist intellectual infatuations by reading any of these threads.

In a very real sense, the mutual decision of this family, to forego childbearing altogether, is every bit the same as a solitary person's decision to commit self-murder [suicide]. You either choose life, or you choose death.

So, in your mind, having no children is of great moral turpitude.

Seems like law school purges them of any vestige of human morality.

Which is precisely the purpose of legalism [cf antinomianism].

Yes - it is just about the gravest sin you can commit.

We don't have a good word for it in the English language, but those of us who are studying the phenomenon have bandied about terms like "democide" or "polycide" to try to describe it.

No, actually I'm not.

I have spent a staggering amount of time studying this crisis, and I know exactly what I'm talking about.

[Unless maybe I'm a freak for being aware of aspects of our impending future which almost no one else is either aware of or is willing to talk about.]

Not buying spaghetti is the worst sin you can commit.

And you are a nut if you don't agree with me.

I wouldn’t get all that wound up about bloodlines. That’s the stuff Royals do. The closest we have to that are Kennedys, and it’s obvious the longer the line, the weaker the gene pool.

So what if Ronald Reagan had no grandkids? Somebody else will, or has. Like Sarah Palin’s grandparents.

I always have a plentiful supply of spaghetti on hand. Food of the Gods. In case we ever get company, which never happens.

Just in the United States alone, the number of Caucasian children is in a catastrophic freefall, and still hasn't hit rock-bottom yet [see Table 9]:
2008, Caucasian, aged 45-49 years: 15.964 million
2008, Caucasian, aged 40-44 years: 14.085 million
2008, Caucasian, aged 35-39 years: 12.981 million
2008, Caucasian, aged 30-34 years: 11.456 million
2008, Caucasian, aged 25-29 years: 12.740 million
2008, Caucasian, aged 20-24 years: 12.949 million
2008, Caucasian, aged 15-19 years: 12.903 million
2008, Caucasian, aged 10-14 years: 11.660 million
2008, Caucasian, aged 05-09 years: 11.222 million
2008, Caucasian, aged 00-04 years: 11.065 million
That's a decline of about 30% [and increasing] since the end of the "Baby Boom".

But believe it or not, compared to the rest of the civilized world - Europe and Pacific-Rim Asia - those are actually pretty good numbers.

In Europe and Pacific-Rim Asia, as regards fertility and demographics, we are actually seeing an "ELE" [Extinction Level Event].

Mark Steyn’s book on that. Pretty interesting, and it is something to think about. The various third-worlders are going to out-spawn us. A tactic that will, in the end, fail when the $$$ and food runs out. Just keep plenty of spaghetti on hand.

I believe I specifically referred to lawyers I’ve met—I’ve met a lot of them.

I suppose there could be a handful of lawyers who’ve managed to retain their humanity, honor, and integrity but I’ve yet to encounter any.

I estimate I’ve been acquainted with over 75 lawyers over the years—I’m 63. I’ve actually hired five lawyers in my time—house closings, wills and once I was accused of disturbing the peace. None of the lawyers represented me well and even—in the case of a will—resisted producing anything but a generic document that can be purchased at a good stationary store. I wanted a “mutual disaster” clause and a few other things included. I prevailed despite the lawyer sneeringly saying to me that my assets were insufficient to warrant the mutual disaster clause.

Interesting, although I hate the use of the term “caucasian.” EUROPEAN-AMERICAN or WHITE would work better.

I know a couple that decided to not have children.

I don’t agree with their decision, but you apparently escalate their decision into them being worse sinners than, say, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Adolf Hitler or Joseph Stalin?

Unless any of those people committed a worse sin than all their murders and decided to not bear children, then they, too, would be as evil as my friends?

Ed
