I like the new “V”, but overall I like the 2 original mini-series better even though they are a little dated.

I’ve been really enjoying this version of “V”. I hope ABC doesn’t tone it down any to appease the O-bots.
I never got into “V” but definitely a big “Chuck” fan...even bypassing “House” since it began moving to PC.
Creepiest chick on a network TV series right now, imo.

So now the remake will have more episodes than the original. Sorry if I’m not exactly excited. While “V” is a good show, it merely reinforces my opinion that Hollywood hasn’t had an original thought in decades.

I have watched V and it’s the most horribly acted, written, and casted show so far this year and I am typically forgiving of poorly acted, written shows. But V is just god awful.

Erica's going to conquer them with love - Lisa will flip to the human side and abort all the soldier V's that are about to hatch.
I'm still giving it a chance, but I'm close to deciding that I liked the 80's V better, where the truth about the V's had pretty much come to light and the war was on.
I suspect this one's gonna turn touchy-feely and stay that way.
Plus, with Erica being a chick, she's the only human who's really got it all going on; all the others (men) are flawed or weak in some way, 'specially the priest.
Oh yeah one other thing... the casting. I'm sorry but these two teenagers... that young man is such a pretty boy, and the girl isn't like an alien critter dressed up to look like an earth chick, she's like an alien robot bolted together to look like an earth chick.
And the priest? The actor playing him is okay, but why can't they let him be smart, strong and decisive too like Erica? (Okay I just answered my own question), and honestly I don't see what's so alluring about Anna.
Except for Erica, that Decker dude is probably the most interesting character, being the weasel like George Stephanopolous that he is. Will he die as a V Quisling, or will he in the end die honorably in a way to redeem himself for doing business with Anna?
