Lynn Redgrave, an introspective and independent player in her family's acting dynasty who became a 1960s sensation as the freethinking title character of "Georgy Girl" and later dramatized her troubled past in such one-woman stage performances, has died. She was 67.

As much as I hate her politics, Vanessa was great as Clemmie in “The Gathering Storm.” I really missed the chemistry of her and Albert Finney in “Into The Storm.”

“Wasnt she a commie? “
that apparently was her sister
this one had a falling out with Vanessa and another sister since they were socialists and she appears to have been more of a right leaning individual.
i always got them confused and had to look it up

Three years ago the radical actress, Vanessa Redgrave, Lynn's sister, finally married Nero, the father of her now-grown illegitimate daughter. She's now 73 and he's 69 and still quite a hunk. He fathered another illegitimate, a boy, in 1983, also now grown.
They're still married....and he lives in Billings, Montana. I could find absolutely nothing that states she lives with him....and she probably doesn't.
The consumate kooky activist, she's probably off somewhere trying to free Mumia or filming another documentary favorable to the Palestine Liberation Front.
Nero is probably still flirting with making bambinos in the romantic shadows of the Billings ski slopes.

"Her death comes a year after her niece Natasha Richardson died from head injuries sustained in a skiing accident and just a month after the death of her older brother, Corin Redgrave."
WOW!!!!
RIP Georgy Girl!!!

Lynn was the classy one, the earth-mother type.
I think she was on Trapper John at one point.
I always liked Lynn Redgrave.
Sweet Dreams, RIP , and may your family be comforted by your memories.

Was it Lynn or Vanessa that played Mary Stuart in the 60’s production of “Mary Queen Of Scots”

Vanessa played Mary, Glenda Jackson played Elizabeth I.

Thanks. I use to get them mixed when they were young. Then Vanessa got old and weirder, and I tuned out.

RIP, Lynn.
Brilliant acting family, unfortunately with too many political lunatics in the family tree. Lynn seemed to be the only normal (and apolitical) one in the family.

You watch yourself, now, Guinevere!
However, if you do go to Billings and bump into Sir Lancelot, let me know all the juicy details.......
