Good morning!
A devastating ecological disaster is overtaking the Gulf Coast area. Some criticism is being aimed at the O administration for its slow response, but ultimately it'll be the oil and energy industry, and us, the consumers, which will bear the weight of government control to come, I fear.
Rahm Emmanuel's rule to never waste a good crisis comes to mind once again.

I agree. Things are just waaaaaaay too coincidental. The trouble is, WE HAVE A COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF WHO IS A TRAITOR TO THIS COUNTRY.

ding, ding, ding, ding!
And why, Toby (this is a rhetorical question), would they not be deploying all of those planes if it weren’t in their agenda? It sorta reminds me of stupid Mayor Nagin not using the school busses to evacuate NO.
There is a reason behind this incredible stupidity.

I noticed my asters yesterday, and they’re getting big, too. But I just can’t take time to trim them all back, now. Every spare momment is dedicated to the campaign. Wish you were closer,, I could used someone to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Sheesh, what a week. At least I logged a few billable hours. I'm ready for a half day off tomorrow, and maybe a whole day off on Monday.
I've been helping the neighbor empty his freezer of fish. He plans to go fishing next week and the old stuff has to go. That works well with the 'me not starving' plan. Win-win.
Worship service tomorrow at my new church home. A refuge from the world.

I am too. I am still not over the tragedy of Barbaro.
But I love it! The horses are so majestic and are just glorious at a full gallop with their hooves thundering and their tails streaming out behind.
FWIW, I don’t think I’ve seen the track as sloppy as it was today. My BIL lives in Louisville and he was asking if they would call off the race for rain. He is not a horse person.
