1. Liberal threats against conservatives are metaphorical only, not serious.
2. Conservative threats against liberals can never be metaphorical, they are to be taken literally.

BTW I heard some “threatening” phone calls Stupak and other received. No threats, just a lot of name calling. Nothing worse than a typical online political exchange. So if there are really death threats, why aren’t they broadcasting those, so we can all unite and condemn them together?

Actually, being a rational person, I believe Madonna when she says “kick her @$$” was just a metaphor and that she had no intention of physically harming Governor Palin.
I only wish members of the Democrat party were rational enough to understand that when Sarah Palin tells us “Don’t retreat, reload”, it is also a metaphor and she is talking about political activism and voting the Democrats out of office, not shooting them.
