Anyone who still likes to see the stars, the dresses, the fun of watching liberals do their thing, please join me! Dishing and heavy sarcasm welcome!
She’s not just a “big woman” she looks like she is almost ready to explode.
“Precious” star Gabby Sidibe had one thing on her mind on the red carpet — the “money shot.”

An 8.8 earthquake in L.A. ?
GREAT John Hughes segment.
You'll like it. It's the only movie I bothered to actually go to the theater to watch last year.
BTW, I still can't get used to all the commercials and seemingly endless promos before you can actually watch the movie you came to see. I nearly got up and left before Blind Side even started because of that.
Agree
Wow, love the Brat Pack on stage!
She does look great, doesn’t she? Sandra Bullock, I mean. I hope she wins, she’s done a lot of good work, most of it kind of light and fluffy, but she’s always been good. Except I really hated that last movie where she played the mean boss who had to get married to her assistant. What a crock that was.
Yea....when you get that large it has got to hurt inside and out. But the dress was done right...
Oh my gosh, all these old Hughes film alumni.
It’s obvious that I am so out of touch with Hollywood since I don’t know most of these people!
It was nice and simple for once, unlike the Oscars the last few years.
which one? You gotta tell me.
I saw Avatar, The Blind Side, Up and District 9.
Demi Moore.
I’m not watching it now...nough for me...Hollywood is looking like washington...same ol faces just in different faces and suits. Boring!
Yaelle, first of all, thank you for starting the thread! (((hugs)))
The bun on Sarah Jessica Parker was a total mis-match to her real hair. And, for her to publically say she would be returning the dress tomorrow, was also surprising to me. (I thought those rich ones only ‘borrowed’ the jewelry from Winstons.)
I liked Blind Side. Not AA worthy but worth seeing.
Sarah Jessica Parker appeared on a recent episode of “Who Do You Think You Are?” to have her roots traced. By ‘roots’, I am not referring to a) regrowth or b) Mathew Broderick. Instead, I refer here, to her family history, where it was revealed that her 10th great-grandmother Esther Ellwell, was one of the innocent victims accused of witchcraft in the 1692 Salem trials.
Parker was relieved to discover that her relo narrowly avoided being burnt at the stake after the witchcraft trial court disbanded, just weeks before her hearing.
