MONTESANO, Wash. (AP) - Authorities believe a Washington man was killed by accidentally urinating on a downed power line after a car crash.

Grays Harbor County sheriff's Deputy Dave Pimentel (PIM'-en-tel) said Monday 50-year-old Roy Messenger was not seriously hurt after he collided with a power pole Friday and called a relative to pull his car from a ditch.

However, family members found Messenger electrocuted when they arrived.

It’s better to be p*ssd off than to p*ss on a power line...

Mythbusters did say it was plausible IIRC...

Are you thinking of the third rail or a power line?

I guess his rod wasn’t properly grounded.

Yes it was. He just completed the circuit.

Nope....exactly the converse.....his 'rod' was grounded ---- through his legs to the ground....if he'd been floating in the air, nothing would have happened....

Plausible? You mean they didn’t try it to see if it was true?

>>Plausible? You mean they didn’t try it to see if it was true?<<

Every myth examined is assigned a “final” status of Busted, Plausible or Confirmed.

They put a breaker into a human analogy and tried to simulate a urine stream onto a power source approximating the power of the third rail of a subway train.

I need to look it up now... (LOL)
