Admiral Ackbar Ignites Backlash at Ole Miss

Admiral Ackbar is causing a serious disturbance in the force at Ole Miss -- where several Rebel fans are threatening to abandon the school if the alien leader becomes the new mascot.

The masterminds behind the Admiral Ackbar mascot campaign tell TMZ they've been contacted by angry students, threatening to transfer if the legendary rebel shot caller is voted to become the new face of Ole Miss.

The group has even received complaints from the parents of current students and prospective students -- with some even threatening to "never send their kids to Ole Miss" if the Admiral wins out.

They let a bunch of brainwashed students of whom less than half voted decide this along with a dumbassed committee and prodding by the PC faculty-chancellor.

I quit giving as an alum back in late 90s when Trent Lott’s son organized banning the confederate flag there at sports events...a tradition of nearly 150 years.

Then they banned playing Dixie in 2003, now Colonel Reb is gone and next it will be no more Rebels and soon enough no longer called Ole Miss.

Give it time and the school will become a black college as soon as Mississippi’s elite finds they can indeed find other schools to go to en masse and stay roughly in the same well known social group.

It’s sickening.

These PC yankees and ABMs here who revel in this should just wait till it’s their turn.

I read someplace that one of the executive producers and some of the staffers went to 'Ole Miss. Plus, TMZ is trying to set the ground work to launch "TMZ Sports". So, they've been running quite a few sports-related stories the last month.
