This is the crap poll.

Let’s say you have 50% dem and 50% Republican respondents.

The Republicans will be split between Reagan and the Bush’s.

The only possible choice for dems is going to be Clinton.

So in the end it will look like a landslide preference to Clinton.
Does that make sense?

There are at least 3 potentially attractive choices for the Republicans and Carter sure the hell wont get much support and Obama is currently losing support so most of the left’s votes will go Clinton.

Evenly divided between dem and Republican respondents will shake out something like this:

Obama 10%
Carter 0%

Reagan 35%

Bush #2 33%
