Simple answer to cancer?

Could it be that simple???

Last evening, Coast to Coast AM had a very interesting guest on. A Doctor (MD type doctor, not a person with a doctorate in basket weaving).

He talked about some things that had been detected in the body, energy states, cell membranes, that sort of thing. Sounded a little kooky in places, but overall, he knows what science is, and the basics of biochemistry, I've read enough abstracts and reviews to know that.

He made - what was to me - a fantastic and startling claim. That most, if not all cancers, are actually the result of a weakened immune system trying to fight off an infection by the common yeast Candida Albicans.

The second part of the claim, which was even more crackpot than the first, was that these infections (and the underlying cancer) can be cured by a simple household cleaning agect. Good ole baking soda, sodium bicarbonate!!

Now - just for the record - I said, "Yeah, nutjob, looney tunes, musta drank too much crankase oil last night." And it is Coast to Coast, which is only slightly more credible than publications featuring Bat Boy.

So I started doing a bit of net research last night. And continued with more today.

And - ANd- AND - I know everyone has bated breath right now.... There are literally THOUSANDS of testimonials on the net of people who have either under doctors (some doctors, in fact damn few doctors, because to subscribe to such a theory is almost an immediate guarantee of having their credentials ripped out from under them) therapy, or even by themselves individually, have cured their cancer with baking soda. Cancer of all types. Lung cancer, colon cancer, ovarian cancer, even some of the deadlier and fast acting brain cancers.

Now I'm posting this for discussion purposes only and no claims are being made or therapies recommended.

But I cannot see what would be the purpose of anybody (patients or doctors) to lie about being cured. And in case after case, we can see the radiologic reports of people with lethal cancers who have been told to go home and die, only turn return and be re-scanned six months later without even so much as a planters wart showing up in the scans!!

So....

WAZZUP, ya think? Any FReeper experiences?

I use baking soda as an antacid almost daily. Its the only thing that helps. I have prilosec and all the other things...tums, rolaids, alka seltzer, etc. But baking soda and water is always immediate relief and also usually produces a great belch.

And there are thousands of testimonies that apricot pits cure cancer.
It doesn't make it so.

Baking soda does not cure cancer nor does it cure a candida infection. However I do know one absolutely effective way to cure the Bull Sh-t that comes out of my radio when coast to coast with George Nory comes on. I push the little button on my radio that says off.

I know it keeps my refrigerator odor free, so of course it cures cancer!

Fasting works too.......did these people fast with whatever they doing with the baking soda. The body will heal itself if the digestive tract is given a break to work on cleansing toxins and repairing.

I’m rather fond of baking soda. I put a 1/4 teaspoon in a couple of tablespoons of natural apple cider vinegar (to neutralize the acidity)...mixed with a bit of water (about a 1/2 cup...every day. Oh, and I top it off with a pinch of cayenne pepper. Just swig it down and it’ll give you health and energy benefits.

Baking soda is good for what ails ya. Good for brushin’ your teeth too.

I usually listen to Coast to Coast AM for laughs, and some entertaining stories.
Yes I heard Dr. John Apsley. I was very impressed with the references, and sources that he quoted. Many, many historical examples where given. It made a lot of sense to me. I am going to do more research myself. His description, and the evidence he offered, for a healthy model of cell operation was impressive. I know of a woman who was working in her garden, contacted a strange fungus, and died 2 weeks later in the hospital. Her immune system was completely inoperative at the end. Fits in with what Dr. John Apsley was saying. Dr. John Apsley is the real 'McCoy'. IMHO

It helps me clean my battery tops and neutralizes my acid spills. It's a good thing.

Just think....when Obama care kicks in and all these people are denied chemo and are sent home with no job.......they will be cured! Wouldn’t the dems love that. I know I would enjoy their shock and awe. Kind of like G-d’s sense of humor with the snow and global warming.

It sounds like the theory that if your pH is too acidic it brings on inflammation and illness so you want to make your system more alkaline. So you take the baking soda.

I opened my favorites and found this. I must have saved it years ago

This is a decades old theory that has been discredited for those same decades.

You can’t generalize. There are many different diseases we refer to as cancer and they all have different etiologies, different courses, different responses to different treatments. The question is, if you had (let us say) pancreatic cancer, how are you going to get the baking soda or Laetrile or whatever to the pancreas, and to all the other sites in the body to which the cancer cells have metastasized?

Not a simple answer to cancer. Or all cancer would be cured by now.

Who knows, perhaps Dr Simoncini will get Nobel Prize one day, like Marshall and Warren

They had an awful lot of detractors too.

Pretty much my take on it also. I mean what do you say to someone who HAD terminal, inoperable cancer who comes back in and shows no symtoms? How many cases can happen before it mores out of the “anecdotal” category to the “there might be some connection here” category?

I have lost over the years a number of people who were close. And the best I can do is to try to not get frustrated and pointing fingers at anyone.

But people have to be willing to admit that there is a HUGE industry testing for and treating cancer. And like all large industries, they have a vested interest in continuing with the status quo.

That is not anecdotal.
That’s factual!!
