My daughter called me tonight..."Dad...you'll never guess who is our graduation speaker...I'm in the car with Maggie...[laughing]..."
So I say: "Obama!"
And she said: "I told my friends I'm not going!" (I raised all good conservatives).
go for lunch or dinner.
Hopefully most who are graduating are not going to go and that would make this phony look rather stupid.

How did she survive as an undergraduate with so many leftest profs? Maybe if she was in the sciences she didn’t have to deal with a lot of that.
Make an ass of yourself and ruin the day for everyone else.
She should go and not shake his hand.
Remember when Clinton was at the University of Chicago either 1999 or 2000, students did not shake his hand.

She graduated, she doesn't need to be there. Take her and her like minded friends out to a wonderful dinner and celebrate her graduation!
Or, if her like minded friends have like minded parents, all of you get together!
Its hers and your day, don't let it be corrupted by a "speaker" who has nothing in common with your ideals........

GHW Bush was my commencement speaker at UM. All the liberal arts majors turned their backs to him when he got up to speak.

Don’t let the event be ruined by Obama. Go, ignore, enjoy. Attendance does not indicate approval of the speakers ... it indicates that you graduated.
