Sarah Palin Endorses Ashley GrahAMNESTY; Gives $1K to Israel-Hater (Debbie Schlussel Alert)
Debbie Schlussel ^ | 2/01/2010 | Debbie Schlussel

Over the last couple of weeks, a number of readers asked me what I thought about Sarah Palin supporting and actively campaigning for amnesty, global warming theory, and “I would close Gitmo” Republican, John McCain. That, I can understand, since he’s the moron who idiotically catapulted the empty skirtsuit to fame in the first place.

That said, it’s not just McCain. The Sarah PAC also gave $1,000 to Team Graham, the campaign committee of amnesty supporter and “don’t torture terrorists” Republican U.S. Senator Ashley Graham, whom Rush Limbaugh appropriately calls, “Ashley Grahamnesty.” And her support is specifically for his primary.

And then there’s her support of Rand Paul, which many readers (including Shy Guy) have also contacted me about. Yup, the son of Ron Paul. While I don’t know if Paul espouses the 9/11 Truther and other wacky rhetoric (some of it anti-Israel and anti-American) of his bizarro father, it’s usually the case that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

“This shows why why my observation about Sarah Palin’s being an intellectual moron ought to stand. “

unfortunately, a lot of other supposedly smart people like Steve Forbes have endorsed this nut.

Rush consistently calls him Lindsey Grahamnesty. There is someone else whom he refers to as “Ashley Wilkes”, but I can’t remember who that is at the moment. Is it Wesley Clark?

I believe that the primary Constitutional function of the federal government is national defense, bar none.

I believe our greatest national security threat is our lack of security at the border. On 9/11, 16 of 19 hijackers were here on ‘legal’ student Visas but were not in school or in the states they were supposed to be in.

Ten years later we are still not policing who we grant Visas to. We gave a Visa to a Nigerian who had made two trips to Yemen, bought a one way ticket with cash and no baggage and his dad tipped off the US Embassy that he had been radicalized.

I propose a moratorium on Visas from about ten rogue nations or anybody that has traveled to those nations. I would keep this in place until our government proves they can manage intelligently our Visa process.

I believe we try the terrorists captured on the battlefield in military tribunals at GITMO. I do not believe in trying them in civilian court.

I believe that when we must fight, we declare war as the Constitution mandates and we fight to win. That we fight only under US Commander and not the UN.

I believe that defending this country is the primary and most important Constitutional function of our federal government.

Rand Paul

Rand Paul: Try, Convict and Lock Up Terrorists In Guantanamo

Published on 19 November 2009 by admin in General News

November 19, 2009

BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY – Leading United States Senate candidate Rand Paul today criticized the Obama administration’s decision to close the Guantanamo Bay detention center and try terrorism suspects in United States Civil Courts.

“Foreign terrorists do not deserve the protections of our Constitution,” said Dr. Paul. “These thugs should stand before military tribunals and be kept off American soil. I will always fight to keep Kentucky safe and that starts with cracking down on our enemies.”

Dr. Paul believes in strong national defense and thinks military spending should be our country’s top budget priority.

Sadly I'm seeing FR slowly being taken over by Ron Paul People and scorched earth Libertarians both on full time search for any story to post against Sarah Palin, Scott Brown or any other Republican that takes part in the rebirth of the GOP.

Could be.
But this conservative voted for Ron Paul in the primary, and Sarah Palin and the old liberal guy in the general ...

don’t forget this:
Whether it’s passing the 315 page Patriot Act without a single member of Congress ever reading the bill, proposing a National ID Card, establishing FISA courts and utilizing warrantless searches, or betraying the medical privacy of ordinary citizens, the Federal Government has overstepped its limited powers as stipulated in the Constitution.

Rand Paul seeks to reassert the rights and privileges of the 50 states and over 300 million Americans. The Federal Government must return to its constitutionally enumerated powers and restore our inalienable rights. Rand proposes that America can successfully protect itself against potential terrorists without sacrificing civil liberties. Rand rejects the premise that the Federal Government must be given a blank check in the name of national security.

Right and also don’t forget....

The Founding Fathers warned of a Federal Government bent on usurping the power, rights, and privacy of its States and citizens. In the last nine years, the Federal Government has expanded the scope of its power at an alarming rate, while blatantly ignoring the Constitution.

“So eight months after the 2008 election Governor Palin’s pack gave (or returned) $1000 to Senator Graham’s funds, and he doesn’t have another election coming up until 2014?”

This puts things into perspective, if its true. Is the point of donating $1,000 to Linsey Graham a payback for the 2008 campaign? Is she paying back or returning funds that Graham gave to her at some point?

Palin is simply an Obama in skirts

That is the biggest bunch of BS I think I have ever read on this site. Perhaps you should just make the next thread your opus and save us all the frustration.

Maybe Nancy is more to your liking.

This is fun!

BAILOUTS!

Federal bailouts reward inefficient and corrupt management, rob taxpayers, hurt smaller and more responsible private firms, exacerbate our budget problems, explode national debt, and destroy our US Dollar. Even more importantly, any bailout of private industry is in direct violation of the constitution. It is a transfer of wealth from those who have earned to those who have squandered. The federal government has overstepped its enumerated powers as stipulated in the supreme law of the land.

Dr. Paul opposes all federal bailouts of private industry. He strongly criticized the $700 billion bank bailout, AIG bailouts, and auto bailouts, as well as the trillions of dollars the Federal Reserve have printed to fund the subsidization of bad business.

Rand Paul would vote to oppose any and all federal bailouts. Instead, he will fight to balance the budget, pay down national debt, restore the value of the Dollar, and allow the responsible to replace the reckless in the marketplace. America is the land of opportunity, to succeed and to fail. It’s time our government starts promoting responsibility.

“Sadly, I’m starting to have doubts.”

Like all human beings, Sarah is not perfect, but she’s darn good most of the time.

I happen to like DeMint, Mike Pence, Bobby Jindal, Michele Bachmann, and a few others more than Sarah’s politics, but Sarah is right on, too.

So now should we start protesting Scott Brown's election because his record isn't perfect? I believe he supported Romneycare. I believe he said Roe V. Wade should stay put...

NO! exactly. Brown was the right guy, at the right time, for Massachusetts, for AMerica---for the BIGGER PICTURE..

I think Palin sees things in a BIG PICTURE way. She judges each candidate on a case by case basis: "what are the unique issues in their state? who are they up against? what unique contributions can they make to the Washington landscape? how will they strengthen GOP as a whole and widen its influence? etc..." And sometimes, she might just like the candidate as a person and trusts their patriotic heart.

She also splits her support among "Tea Party" people with those who are more established. I think that's a great move on her part.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. She is not all of a sudden some anti-Semitic liberal. The original post is nonsense! Sheesh!
