Over the last couple of weeks, a number of readers asked me what I thought about Sarah Palin supporting and actively campaigning for amnesty, global warming theory, and I would close Gitmo Republican, John McCain. That, I can understand, since hes the moron who idiotically catapulted the empty skirtsuit to fame in the first place.
That said, its not just McCain. The Sarah PAC also gave $1,000 to Team Graham, the campaign committee of amnesty supporter and dont torture terrorists Republican U.S. Senator Ashley Graham, whom Rush Limbaugh appropriately calls, Ashley Grahamnesty. And her support is specifically for his primary.
And then theres her support of Rand Paul, which many readers (including Shy Guy) have also contacted me about. Yup, the son of Ron Paul. While I dont know if Paul espouses the 9/11 Truther and other wacky rhetoric (some of it anti-Israel and anti-American) of his bizarro father, its usually the case that the apple doesnt fall far from the tree.

Exactly!
When Reagan ran for president in 1976, Blackelk ran the Connecticut campaign, and CT GOP chairman ran the Ford campaign. During that campaign, Biebel said many unflattering things about Gov. Reagan. Four years later, Biebel was enlisted to head the Reagan campaign in CT. He accepted. That doesn’t make Reagan a sell-out. It doesn’t even necessarily make Biebel a panderer or mere opportunist. It is part of the mechanics of politics in a two party system.
We can disagree with Palin’s judgment on PAC contributions, but if we have a problem with presidential candidates trying to be on friendly terms with useful allies for an upcoming presidential run as a general proposition, we risk marginalizing ourselves as much as 3rd party candidates usually do.
I support Sarah Palin, but I don’t ask her whom to support in Senate races. Miss Schleussel does herself no favor with her overheated rhetoric. Even experienced spinmeistresses like Noonan can’t help themselves. Palin makes their heads explode as if they were in the new Cronenburg sequel to Scanners.
“Who is Ashley Graham? Wrong number, wrong number!”
________
Exactly. I never heard of him or her. I guess this is supposed to be Lindsey Graham. But then, Graham was re-elected in 2008 and does not have a primary for four more years now.
There is no political logic, ever, in supporting Grahamnesty. Particularly in this political tea-party climate. It’s stupid beyond belief.
isn’t Ashley Graham a rugby player?
I asked Debbie why she didn’t like Sarah Palin and one of her responses was Sarah should have stayed home with her kids.
Debbie is a supporter of Bobby Jindhal.
Ah, the concern troll arrives....
You’re a moronic moby.
Paging Jim Robinson.
FR needs an enema. It starting to get clogged up with chunks of manure.

Oh now I get it, Allen Keys out to ruin ANOTHER conservative trying to make himself looks good. I am beginning to really really dislike Allen Keyes.
Ditto! I have no regard for Schussel. She caters to the ignorant who yelp on key like Pavlovian dogs when she throws out redmeat. A lot of what she says is inaccurate.
Asinine article
As much as that sounds like rationalization, it might actually be the case.
Sarah runs a multi-candidate PAC. In order to do so, in the filing documents the PAC must indicate an initial list of candidates supported -- I think it is 3 or more, but I'm not sure.
It appears that she had three politicians contribute to her PAC, and they were then given money from the PAC and listed as the three getting money. Or at least, Lindsay had given her money, and then she listed him as an initial candidate being supported.
The reason it still annoys me is that it presumes that Sarah entered into such an arrangement with Lindsay even though she doesn't support him.
But that makes no sense. There were certainly 3 candidates out there who were conservative that could have done the same arrangement.
And the idea that you would give money to a candidate you DON'T support is funny. Although if Sarah gave money to Obama himself, I'd expect to see a set of FReepers telling us all why that was really a good thing.
$1K is not an edorsement of Grahamnesty - she is paying him back - his PAC or something of that sort gave $ - it’s really that simple - and what is she endorsing when Grahamnesty was relected in 2008? This Schlussel lady is an insane Palin-hater - she has been since the ‘08 election. and last I checked Rand Paul is Ron Paul’s son and they have many differences - I’ve liked what I’ve heard from Rand - Ron - only on fiscal issues. Rand seems to be more like a mix of a libertarian with a small L unlike Daddy & a conservative.
I think people are trying to find whatever they can to smear this lady so their guy wins - it’s quite despicable - again, it’s 2010 - I’ll wait and see what happens.
Ding Ding Ding - graham donated to SarahPAC - she is paying him back the $1K - this isn’t an ednorsement - he was elected again in 2008 - not even close to coming up for re-election again.
People are finding anything they can to bash her - even on a conservative site - sad.
