I can’t, like, you know, see Alaska from, you know, my house. But like I can see the same, you know, sun they see. I mean if the sun comes up in Alaska, you know?

Miss Virginia won, whose father looks like eric holder, ugh.
No one on the FR thread picked her to win, there were other more worthy contestants.

Seems to me that maybe she was taking a shot at Tina Fey.

ah; a pre-destined winner of ‘light skin’ color?

Come on, you should know by now that in Obamaland that it is all about race and the color of one’s skin... “worthy” has nothing to do with it.

They take “ONE” remark and try to make the everyone think the whole world is against what they (the media) is against - our republic, our Constitution, and our American way of life.
And Ms Alaska can stuff it - Ms VA won.

I suppose so.
I will say on her behalf that she looked like a “nice girl”.
But if they wanted someone down to earth, miss hawaii was the earthiest.
Miss DC, a tall blond, was a stunner who had a great deal of poise and talent. Some of us were surprised when she was eliminated.
I never would have watched a minute of it but for the Live FR thread, which was a lot of fun.

This continues to frost me. I worked as a game biologist for the Alaskan Dept. of Fish and Game on Little Diomede Island and Cape prince of Wales as well as other western shore and off-shore locations. Not only could I see Siberia and the Chukchi Sea from my window, I had Russian helicopter patrols a mile off shore of Little Diomede daily. I actually landed on Big Diomede and the Siberian shore during storms.
Sarah never said she could see Russia from her house! She said you could see it from Alaska. And you can!
Hope this dipsh*t doesn't win!

Exactly! I called it as soon as she walked out on the stage before she even opened her mouth. I told my husband, right there is the winner. Of course I was for Miss Tennessee and my husband was pulling for Miss Kentucky.

I couldn’t find the official FR pageant thread last night. Does anyone have a link to it? Thanks.

Beauty, talent and intelligence are in the eyes of the judges. I was hoping for Miss NM or Hawaii but they didn't even make the top 3. As for Miss California, I thought she belonged in the NBA, not the pageant but some folks around here thought she should have won.
Maybe next year they'll call you and I to be judges.............LOL!

Sorry, I haven't mastered how to do a clickable link yet.

Pageant was rigged. Just look at who won. Wont ever watch again.Limbaugh was a judge, do you suppose he was bought off? If not will he speak out against Miss Virginia's "rigged" victory on his show this afternoon?
Personally, I preferred Miss Texas, but just because she didn't win, along with the fact that I am sane, I don't entertain the asinine notion the contest was fixed.
