Myleene Klass was told off by police for waving a knife through her window to scare off two teenagers trying to break into her garden shed. The musician was alone in her kitchen, with her two-year-old daughter asleep upstairs, when she grabbed the knife and shouted 'I'm calling the police'. Officers who arrived at her house in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, on Friday warned her that it was illegal to carry an 'offensive weapon' even at home.
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling said: 'This incident just shows why things are still very confused on this issue and why we need a change in the law.'

Makes you want to lock the lawmakers and the street thugs in a pen together for a few hours, and taser the lawmakers when they try to keep the street thugs from stealing their wallets, or touching them in general.
Cowardly people who make such laws deserve only torture, ridicule, and tar-and-feathering.

“Offensive weapon”? Ridiculous. Weapons are inanimate objects. “Offense” or “defense” is determined by the user.
If those two punks did that to my wife they may be looking down the barrel of any number of handy firearms.
Another article in the Mail: “Businessman arrested in front of wife and son for anti-gipsy email that he did not write.” And not an email that threatened to kill the gipsies and burn their house down either, but an email that said they were flouting proper planning board regulations, and used a phrase that rhymed with a slur.

We think it’s a peeping tom. I heard something a few nights ago and dismissed it as dog or animal outside.
My son heard it last night and saw a human figure moving outside.
The next door neighbor, my son and I have a plan of action to nab the creep if we hear him again. (leaves are not raked, and he/she/it makes noise when creeping around)
