Peter Hamby from CNN tweets:
No CPAC for Sarah Palin but she's speaking at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in April in New Orleans. Much bigger stage.

Yep. Romney can buy the CPAC tent, but the party is wherever Palin says it is.
She also said the SLRC is an opportunity to “listen.”
Wonder if the other politicos will listen to the people?
And yep, count me in as someone who’s glad she’s not going to CPAC. It has become a huge part of the Establishment in DC.
ACU’s David Keene has problems, has been dismissive of Palin, is a Romneybot to the max.
Shall I go on with the reasons why this is a great move for Sarah?
She did once say that she thought it would not be smart to start a third party but that the “GOP better get thier act together.”
Each year CPAC holds a straw poll of potential presidential candidates. Speakers have included Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Pat Buchanan, Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul. Before, during, and after his presidency, Reagan spoke at CPAC a total of 12 times.
And Petraeus is reported to be a self-described “Rockefeller Republican” (hint: another Powell).
We need DeMint in the Senate (and he probably doesn’t bring her votes), but there are some good Pubbie Governors who could be her veep. Perry could be an early favorite.
I hope you’re right.
Like many of us, I am really counting on her.
As promising as she is, I don’t think that she can afford any missteps.
I want her to not only win, I want her to kick Obama’s teeth out.
No Rice, period.
Great choice on not going to CPAC, Sarah. The hell with David Keene.
Palin/BOLTON or Palin/Bachmann - I also like very much the Palin/WEST.
SOOO glad she ditched CPAC. CPAC is nothing but a RINO graveyard now.

LOL...
Stick around a while and READ.
“due to a homosexual activist group sponsoring the event.”
Works for me. I had not seen that before. Try as I might, I flat can’t read them all. LOL
Thank you.....
Neither. Two women on the ticket could not win.
Plus, I don't trust leadership abilities of either of those you mention.
Palin need to run with a Military candidate.
Pace, Petreas or someone else who can handle all the turmoil and unrest that our troops are embroiled in.
I'm not sure who should be in the #1 position
