AMEN! Thanks Amy.
:)
She doesn’t always get healthy meals but after the lousy meal that she had last night, she deserved something more like dinner.
I’m happy that she like vegetables. Of course, with the raw carrots, she has to have ranch dressing. She also likes ranch dressing on her broccoli. She will eat cauliflower and asparagus with only butter. :)
Good evening, DD.
I don’t think we got much of anything tonight. Get prepared for tomorrow. The weather station was forecasting heavy rain with thunderstorms and lightening. Sure hope we don’t lose power.
We are in the country so several of the country roads have areas of flooding. When we have hi winds, you see several almonds trees down. they must have a shallow root system.
Have a good evening. Stay safe and dry.
Oh Man ..... how good a cruise sounds.
Let me know when and I will be there!!!
We are not in a flood zone. I complain about flooded streets. Living in the country, there are always certain roads that flood if we get very much rain. But we are not in any danger.
Thanks, Taipam. Aren’t those puppies cute? Wednesdays and Saturdays are pet days at Amy’s Place. LOL
Amy, thank you for sending that cute (framed) yorkie my way!
We are preparing for a huge storm tonight and tomorrow. The local news channel (from Phoenix) reported a frightening forcast for Sedona. They showed pictures of people sand-bagging around their homes, and others ready to evacuate. Flagstaff may get 4’ of snow from this storm.
My oil lamp is full, the flashlights are charged, and there is not much more I can do. I am not near the creek (which will probably flood at 18’), but I may get stuck here for a few days, as my driveway will no doubt flood over.
But, I’ve got plenty of food - (no SPAM, tho) LOL!
God bless you and God Bless all the precious puppies! I love that picture! Stay dry , dear ones! It is raining here in Atlanta..but when isn’t it? :)

I was checking for something on this thread and just noticed my post to you (yesterday) didn't show up. : (
Hope you're doing fine.
Love the doggie/kitty photo. : )
I hope Marissa feels better. My Late Father always enjoyed a plate of Spam and Eggs, it brings back memories.
Imagine being a visitor in a foreign land, showing up unannounced at a gathering of people you have never met and who have never heard of youand then being allowed to address that group just a few minutes later. That can happen only if something breaks down barriers something like mutual friends.
It happened when I took a missions team to a church service in Discovery Bay, Jamaica. Before we left the US, my friend Dorant Brown, a Jamaican pastor, recommended a church to attend. So when we arrived at the church, and I mentioned Pastor Brown, we were not only welcomed, but I was also asked to speak briefly and our team was asked to sing.
While sharing Dorants name was vital, I really dont think it was that mutual friend who got us such a warm welcome. I think it was our shared Friend and Savior Jesus who opened our Jamaican friends hearts to our visit.
Have you experienced a connection with someone you just met when you tell them you too know Jesus? Hes a friend who laid down His life for us (John 15:13), and He makes brothers and sisters of all who believe (1 Peter 2:17).
Jesus. Our Savior. Our mutual Friend. He joins hearts around the world under the banner of His love.

AMEN!

Absolutely adorable.....GREAT pictures, love that sweet deer!
Thank you for sharing this thread, Gail. To take from our military’s health care is despicable. I am a recipient of Tri-Care, and this is frightening, to say the least.
