"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Good Friday” wear RED” Morn’n Meg!
A very thought provoking and beautiful graphic. I just wonder what that lady is thinking and where she is going down that path?

REST IN PEACE, FALLEN BROTHER!
Sgt. Lucas Beachnaw, US, KIA Afghanistan 13JAN2010
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
God Of Our Fathers
Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen brother, among these who answered the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!

I’ve been following this race. I sent a small donation to Brown last week. Oh what a day a Brown win would be!!! I loved the comment about it not being Kennedy’s seat!!!

I've been spending time watching TV and reading FR Threads. Last weekend, I
was reading about the earthquake in northern California now this one in Haiti.
It is impossible to imagine such suffering.
I enjoyed making and posting those baby graphics yesterday. :)
Sorry that your Red Hat Luncheon was cancelled.
Have a fun day with friends.

For All The Cat~People Of Amy's Place
Jaguar's Class
My best friend, Spike is one of the older Horses inside the Stable
Who sometimes requires some extra time and effort as best as I am able
Being a comforting heating blanket to a spot behind his forelegs and mane
Due to poorly cinched, loose Saddles that can slip and cause annoying pain
It's something I started doing when I was a precocious ball of weightless fluff
And soon discovered that hanging on when Spike wants to roam can get a little rough
Not that Spike seemed to care at all as I found a safe and comfy place
Trying my best to become glued to it as Spike would begin to pace
With shifts in weight from sudden moves, I slowly learned it all from scratch
Which helps prove to the youngsters that Spike and I are a nearly flawless match
We are the latest addition to the Stable Kitten Crew
And we have an excellent instructor named Jaguar to show us what to do
Along with when to do it to keep our Horses calm and in the proper mood
Especially when it comes to entertaining them when it's close to their time for food
Or being an agile distraction when heavy Saddles and shiny tack are carefully laid out
Which may cause the Horses to become anxious and suddenly rear and shout
That makes us all a little cautious as we silently select our charge
Since compared to us, all of the Horses seem very stout and immensely large
Though it will take some time to earn our Horse's friendship and confidence
We'll follow Jaguar's lead and learn to do it all while standing on a fence
