I’m with you ... if any problems with these requests, they should get the ACLU involved! :)

I love it, love it! I would just love to see the court’s reaction when she has to haul her cat into court. She should ask for ‘special privileges’ for her cat....for instance litter box, milk, and the best cat food.....LOL!

Yes, he said something like ‘we wouldn’t want to burden a young girl with the birth of a baby’......oh my, thats the worst thing anyone could say.

A bit off the subject but have you been hearing about the Republican ‘Brown’ 4 points ahead of the Democrat Coakley in MASSACHUSETTS. Coakley kept calling the seat ‘Kennedy’s seat’ and Brown spoke up and said that seat was not Kennedy’s seat....it was the people’s decision who the seat would be for!! She also went to Washington for a fundraiser, while Brown visited many miles in Massachusetts. She made some kind of stupid statement that she didn’t want to stand out in the cold and shake hands with strangers. This is not an exact quote but it is certainly very similar. I am praying that a Republican might get that seat.....this would be such a blow to Obama!

Amy, I get so excited when talking politics that I forgot to tell you that is a precious towel-wrapped baby you posted! I could just squeeze it to death.

And I’ve been wrapped up in t.v. lately, grieving for the poor people in Haiti. Just a horrible situation so out of control. How sad this has been. They need our prayers around the clock.

I did go to the beauty shop yesterday...needed haircut, color, the works. Our Red Hat Luncheon was cancelled today because the lady in charge messed up!! So I am going to lunch with a couple of friends today! I’ll be in and out.

Jaycee..I've had that sweet painting for years..remembered it was on my thumb drive and thought it perfect with the opening. It's called Treasured Moments.

I am so far behind on reading and catching up..I did not listen to the news during my efforts to retrieve files and did not even know about the devastating earthquake in Haiti until yesterday.

***I found tinypic had subbed a porn graphic in a sweet viola
thank you I had framed..Somewhere on FR the porn graphic is displayed in archives with my name on it!***

I don't trust tiny pic to last so my text files help..but only if I download the actual picture from it.
My files needed more editing..but not my new downloads for Sunday!
I am having to totally reconstruct my file folders, too.

Our weather is mild..49 right now and I am enjoying opening the drapes..and running out to refill the bird feeder with out being bundled up.

A Second Chance
His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. —Lamentations 3:22-23

A year ago today, 155 people on US Airways Flight 1549 thought they were going to die. During take-off from New York City, their plane struck a flock of geese, disabling both engines. In a powerless glide, the captain maneuvered over the densely populated area, then announced: “Brace for impact.” Less than 90 seconds later, the crippled plane made a water landing in the frigid Hudson River, where boats and ferries quickly arrived to rescue the passengers and crew, all of whom survived. People called it the “miracle on the Hudson” and praised the pilot and crew. One grateful passenger said simply, “We have a second chance in life.”

In times of crisis, we grasp the importance of every hour. During our ordinary routine, however, we often forget that each day is a second chance. “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I hope in Him!’ ” (Lam. 3:22-24).

We can choose to live with thankfulness for God’s mercy and grace, with confidence in His faithful care, and with hope because He is with us forever. Today, God offers us a second chance in life. Let’s make the most of it!

As shadows of night give way to dawn’s light,
God opens the door to a brand-new day;
And with it come mercies from His gracious hand
For giving new mercies is always His way. —D. De Haan

Our God is a God of second chances.

Well, since my Avant-garde attempt to bring a new and unexplored culinary at the Billy Bob Autobody and Roadside Cafe went so awry, we will be having breakfast in a more traditional venue.

Bacon wrapped breakfast steaks with a delicate Hollandaise sauce, with a side of American Potatoes w/buttery cheese topping

Thin sliced ham, butter fried, gathered with hashbrowns and green pepper shavings, topped with a very light Béarnaise sauce

Buttermilk pancakes, w/sausage link rolled inside, drenched in butter and Maple syrup, with a side of slivered melon in creme

Bowl of fresh fruit cut into cubes, and sprinkled with a light dusting of confectioner’s sugar and a splash of heavy cream

Sourdough toast with whipped honey butter and an assortment of jellies and jams.

Cold and hot cereal, with whole milk (Banana slices on request)

Coffee, tea, milk, juices as you like

Mid-morning snack
Popover filled with pulled pork in BBQ sauce, a side of Tater Tots on toothpicks with dipping sauce, fresh fruit and a beverage of choice.

Meg, I can’t understand how that happened....do you store some graphics at tinypic....or do you take whats in your files to upload at tinypic? Guess I’m not understanding how that happened? Gosh, thats awful!

I feel so bad for the trouble you’re having with the loss of files after all that hard work.

The weather was nice yesterday and is going to be nice today and I am so grateful to see the sun and to be able to go to the trash can without freezing to death. There’s still some snow but its melting quickly! I guess none of us should complain about anything, after seeing what the poor people in Haiti are going through. It is a horrible situation!

I love and appreciate this message today, Mr. Mayor. How beautiful it is and how thankful we all must be when we awaken to a bright new day....to Him be all the Praise!

Our God is a God of second chances.

What would be do if those words were not true?

10 Fantastic Cat Facts
By PetMD via DivineCaroline

Got a cat? While you probably know lots about your furry feline, we bet there are some fantastically fun facts you don’t know…

1. Ambidexer-Cat?
You probably never thought about a cat as being either left- or right-pawed, but over 40 percent are either lefties or righties. That means there’s quite a few out there who are ambidextrous. Luckily for them, they can probably operate the can opener with both paws…
2. Warm or Cold?
Food that is. Cats don’t like their food too hot or too cold. They like it just right. And for them, just right is room temperature, just like their prey would be in the wild. Cats are indeed the Goldilocks of the animal world.

3. In Living Color
Cats see in color, so your new paisley frock in orange, purple, and yellow won’t be lost on them. They also have fantastic night vision, and only need one-sixth of the light humans require to see. So don’t go getting your cat night-vision goggles.

4. What’s in a Name?
A group of kittens is called a “kindle” (yes, just like that fancy new electronic book device available now), while a group of adult cats is called a “clowder.”

5. Meow?
We all know the meow sound, whether it’s questioning, scared, happy, or imperiously demanding dinner. Curiously, cats only meow at people, not at other cats.

6. Four-Legged Mood Rings
Cats are highly intuitive creatures, and they are more than able to pick up your mood, especially from your tone of voice. They know when you’re yelling at them (though they often don’t seem to care). If you need your cat to calm down, try speaking to her in a soothing, loving voice. You’ll be amazed.

7. Lofty Beginnings
Ever wonder who invented the cat door? It was Sir Isaac Newton. Perhaps he was vexed by his cat wanting in and out all the time and disturbing his work, so he did something about it–much to the relief of cat lovers everywhere.

8. It’s All in the Fall
Cats really do land on their feet. In fact, they all fall in the same way. First they rotate their head, then twist their spine around, followed by a rear leg alignment and finally they relax into it and arch the back, thus lessening impact. But please, don’t experiment with this at home. Take our word for it.

9. Baby Machines
Unless you want a “clowder” of cats cluttering your home, spay, and neuter your furry feline. Just one pair of cats and their kittens can produce 420,000 (!) offspring in a mere seven years.

10. Individuality
Like human fingerprints, cats have their own built-in unique tag of telling them apart–their nose! The nose pads of cats are all uniquely ridged, meaning no two are the same.

I had a big smile on my face when I read your first paragraph!!

I am hungry, really hungry! Guess I will choose “thin sliced ham, butter fried, gathered with hashbrowns and green pepper shavings, topped with a very light Béarnaise sauce!” Also, a small glass of milk and orange juice! No coffee as I’ve had 2 cups! And thank you!
