credit card processors

I have a question regarding credit card processors. I run a small business, and accept credit cards, however is there a way to prevent paying the high fees with this service? Can I just slide the credit card plate, in the old fashion way and take the deposit slips to the bank?

So the poster is banned for merely asking a general credit card question under the General/Chat thread heading? So why was the thread even allowed to be posted?

Doubt that. I wonder if the mods saw the IP address for all the newbies today was the same or something?
The mods usually give people the benefit of the doubt, even with goofy questions...I think there’s a LOT more going on behind the scenes than we are privy to...though I’d love to be a fly on the wall in the background! :-)

The mods can see ISP information we can’t. That’s why they’ll come into the thread after a zot sometimes and tell us the zottee was a retread.
If someone who appears innocent gets zotted, that’s the reason.
