I have a question regarding credit card processors. I run a small business, and accept credit cards, however is there a way to prevent paying the high fees with this service? Can I just slide the credit card plate, in the old fashion way and take the deposit slips to the bank?
Check out Costco for processing.
The percentage fee is usually dictated by the method of validating the charge. The cheapest method is to have a phone line & a card swiping machine. But that usually implies that you are doing a large number of transactions.
I believe it is still processed by the credit card company and your business will be assessed the fee. Some places I deal with add the fee to a CC transaction.
Welcome to FR. Interesting first post. We are the biggest and best forum for conservative news and views on the ‘net.
Yes.
The only newbies are the ones who use the term.
Do you like kitties?
If you sign up with Costco before December, you get a free 100 gift card.
You are on the wrong site newbie.
FR is being bombarded by newbies this evening, with off the wall topics.
That’s a dumb thing to say.

The question then becomes: “What is the ‘on’ topic that we’re being diverted from?” </conspiracy>
Maybe all the newbies got computers for Christmas and it’s all too exciting and they can hardly stand it and it’s so much fun to come here and talk to people... Guess that’s OK ...
YES!
Call out the kitties!!!!

700 hits and counting, not bad for a supposed stupid question, eh? I didn’t think it such a stupid question but then I don’t pretend to be the thread police.
