It occurs to me that if the top Obama Outrages of 2009 are not gathered together and documented in one place, they will as if they had not occurred at all. Outrages that should make the list, I think, should be major demonstrations of stupidity, deceit, treason, or ineptitude (or combinations thereof).
I admit to not even being able to start a list because these events, unlike say arguably misspelling potato, are so quickly erased from the public consciousness. Several things that I might nominate include giving an iPod as a gift to the Queen; inserting himself into the Cambridge police incident involving Professor Gates; and continued secrecy regarding his origins.

The appointment of the Goldman-Sachs gangsters to every financial position of importance in his administration.
"No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It's like -- it was like Special Olympics, or something."
Barack Obama -- "The Tonight Show", March 19, 2009
#1 Taking ~2 paragraphs to thank himself and Mrs. Obama for hosting him during the Irish P.M.’s visit way back when.
Of course we’ll see W pulling on a closed door in China for perpetuity, but the videos of him going deep into the wrong teleprompter speach are cloistered for their owners’ fear of being blacklisted on the D.C. white wine circuit.
#2: Wrong format DVDs.
#3: DVDs (what a wanker).
He’s soooo brilliant... /s
His “shout outs” to his buddies before he addresses the Fort Hood shhotings.
This is an example of one I had completly forgotten about until an earlier mention here of the NYC Weekend caused it to pop into my head.

When the Obamas gave Gordon Brown's kids two helicopters from the White House gift shop. HOW FREAKING CHEAP.
The "57 States" (visited with two to go, I think it was) thing occurred in 2008. No way someone educated in the United States can be so tired as to think that there are 57 or 59 States. None!

I agree...I meant the excuse could be made...more plausible than in thinking there is an Austrian language, which could NEVER be chalked up to “tiredness” only what it is...bumpkinism...for the average sixth grader it is no big deal, but for the “Reader of the Free World” it is a disaster...
If you go through the file on ethics, the pile of stuff is so deep and wide it would be a toss up. But just for yucks here might be some candidates for the top ten:
10) The Obama administration, rolls back rules requiring labor unions and their leaders to report information about their finances and compensation
http://washingtontimes.com/news/2009/apr/27/obama-team-reverses-union-transparency/
9) In 2008 Obama told NBCs Tim Russert he'd renegotiate NAFTA to include labor and environmental clauses. Obamas pro-NAFTA trade ambassador, Ron Kirk, announced treaty would not be redrawn

8) New Yorkers run through the streets as plane photo op goes awry

7) Rahm Emanual is found to have earned over $300,000 in a short stint with Freddie Mac

6) White House spokes hole Robert Gibbs gets tongue-tied trying to explain why Goldman Sachs execs get big bonuses
5) Obama releases CIA interrogation techniques
4) Gerald Walpin, TARP investigator, fired for doing his job

3) Attorney General Eric Holder blocks investigation of his black panther friends for voter intimidation
2) Forced disclosure of SEIU Director Andy Stern's many visits to the White House
and... drum roll please...
1)Signing into law the most massive budgets in the history of the USA
................
Truly, this could go on and on. There is just too much "stuff". I mean, you have Kevin Jennings the pervert, Van Jones the communist moron, the socialist/commie brigade manning the White House advisors list, the TARP fraud, the stimulous boondoggle, military death stench in Afghanistan, insulting the English, Canadiens, and French, negotiating failures with China, Russia, and Israel, pro-abortion love, Fox News hatred, New York nights on the town with the missuz, silence on the Fort Hood massacre, and the most recent terror attack over Detroit.
I am planning an annual retrospective at week 52 of his "presidency". It hopefully will be available in time for the 2010 elections.
Impossible to narrow down to top 10—given the DAILY outrages, maybe we could expand to a top 25.
His inauguration...
The inauguration.
The inauguration.
The inauguration.
The inauguration.
The inauguration.
The inauguration.
The inauguration.
The inauguration.
The inauguration.
The inauguration.
And, of course, the top 10 in 2008.
The ELECTION X 10.
Here’s what PO’d me that comes quickly to mind, and in no particular order:
1. Urgent sky-is-falling need for massive stimulus bills... which have been simply a pork boondogle.
2. Taxpayer funding and ownership stake in GM, Chrysler, and Banks. Screwing of bondholders and propping up of Unions.
3. Pushing socialized healthcare on Americans. Failing to live up to his promise of open/televised debate.
4. Numerous Czars in itself being a concern, yet the persons nominated (and their questionable backgrounds) being a greater concern.
5. Wasting taxpayer dollars on this fraud known as Global Warming.
6. Statement, “America is not a Christian nation...”
7. Failure to treat our Allies with the respect they deserve.
8. Failure to support democracies and promote American values worldwide. Honduras? Iranian revolts?
9. Apology Tour 2009.
10. Race baiting: “...believe the officers acted stupidly..” and the Beer Summit that followed
11. “Office of the President Elect”
12. Blaming Bush instead of stepping up as a leader to take ownership and accountability.
13. Seeking to close Gitmo. Seeking to place terrorist prisoners in Illinois.
14. Trial of terrorists in NY.
15. Cash For Clunkers. Taxpayer funding for what - increased sales of Toyotas?
16. Janet Napolitano.
17. Ignoring TEA parties.
18. War on Fox.
19. Failure to treat the Afghan war with any sense of urgency or decisiveness. Glad he finally got around to worrying about our sons fighting overseas.
20. Failure to end the controversy on his birth records. What ARE you hiding?
21. ACORN. Supporting this corrupt organization, allowing it to thrive, and in doing so endorsing their behavior.
Moving the trials of 5 terrorists from military tribunals to civilian court in NYC.
My top one is: NO CREDIT TO RONALD REAGAN AT THE BERLIN WALL ANNIVERSARY EVENT. What a self-centered JERK!!!
His immediate “...don’t jump to conclusions” regarding the Fort Hood TERRORIST shooting.
Filling his cabinet with experts at tax evasion and various other crimes.
Associating with known terrorists and Marxist a-holes like Ayers.
Attending a racist church for years, but claiming to not be affected by the sermons, or to even notice the hatred being served up weekly.
Personally flying to Europe to pitch Chicago for the Olympic Games.
Attacks on Sean Hannity / Rush Limbaugh for expressing opposing viewpoints.
No birth certificate.
Being an all-around arrogant SOB.
That’s enough for now.
Good point FreeManWhoCan, you’d think a guy willing to mortgage the next ten generations of Americans for his Marxist ideals would think of something a little nicer than helicopters from the gift shop.
On that topic, it gives me the creeps to imagine the strip-job the ObaMarx family will give the White House when they leave in 2013.
He was born a British subject is my guess.
