With the likelihood of Obamacare passing (thank you, traitor Ben Nelson), it sets the stage for a number of scenarios to occur. Since the majority of Obama's ill-informed minions know they won't be eligible for universal health care until 2013, the flood of folks running to ERs will create a huge problem. Now, perhaps it won't happen. But, the memories of Katrina are permanently etched into my mind. And the 'take what is mine now' mentality is a possible ramification of the bill's passage.
So let me ask you, freepers, what do you see happening to this country as a whole once the bill is signed? As a normally optimistic person, it pains me to say I can't find any good to come of this. In fact, I've put on some tin foil at where this could go (worst case scenario).
Here is the worst case scenario I see:
1. The minute the bill is signed into law, ERs around the country are flooded. Private practices will also have to physically remove those who insist on being treated. Fights and small riots will break out.
2. Obama will have 'no choice' but to force hospitals, etc. to treat those seeking help, and allegedly offer to compensate them immediately.
3. Doctors, nurses, etc. will say screw that and walk away.
4. Within six months, a third of US doctors and nurses will be 'on strike', leading to long lines for treatment, especially in ERs.
5. Because of this 'national emergency', Obama will suspend the Posse Comitatus Act, and have national guard troops in large cities making sure 'peace' prevails.
6.Meanwhile, the states who have passed sovereignty bills will revolt not only against the HC bill, but the unconstitutional seizure of the HC industry, long before the targeted year of 2013.
7.Obama will not have this, and will use the troops already in these states to muscle his intentions. As a result, all elections are put on indefinite hold, and all civil liberties are suspended. FEMA camps are converted into rebel detention facilities.
8.US troops, conflicted by duty, honor and country, and the orders issued by their superiors, will simply walk away. US soldiers are not prepared to fire on American citizens- and will not do so.
9.Choas ensues, with rebellion in the military and at the state level, with armed citizens now forcefully attempting a government overthrow. Masses will flee big cities and head for the heartland.
10.With the US military no longer existing in its historic form, Obama creates a civilian police force of loyalist, who are armed and will confront rebels with force. These loyalist have no problem killing their American brethren.
11.With civil war now engulfing the United States, the world economy has collapsed, and countries like China, Iran and Russia use the crisis to do their own military conquering. China forcefully retakes Taiwan, Russia goes after anyone they can, and Iran starts the bombing of Israel. Without the US, Israel is on its own. Countries like GB, France, etc. won't move a muscle and will stay neutral.
12. With no success as quelling the rebellion at home, Obama will request foreign troops on American soil to 'keep the peace'.
13. I don't even want to think about 13.

Taxes will start being taken this January......
On whom? If it’s not just the “RICH” I’d like to know how far down the income bracket past 250k they are willing to go.
I know they’ll tax your insurance plan. I know they’ll tax your employer. I know they’ll tax insurance company.
I really want to know if that mid 20’s I-smarter-than-you-fresh-out-of-college dumbass is going to get taxed!!??
We who do not live in the big cities can strangle the food supplies of the cities and starve them out .
when our mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, start dying because of obummercare, there WILL be blood to pay. THEIR BLOOD! our blood.
You and me both, brother.
Now what was it that Claire Wolf said? Just can’t remember.

VANITY: When Obamacare is signed into law, what will happen?

Canadians won’t have anywhere to run to for top-flight quality healtcare...
Most of this bill will not come into effect for a couple years..Of course the cuts to Seniors, increased taxes and a regulating nightmare for private insurers will start day one
well, I think immediately, a whole new add-on entitlement constituency earning up to 400% of the “poverty” level (about $80K for a family of 4) will stop paying anything for their medical bills or stop renewing private insurance because they will assume the govt will pay their bills
Think of maybe 1/3 or even half of America refusing to pay their bills or mortgages and feeling entitled about it....
chaos
that’s the line forming for their “free” govt colonoscopies
That’s the crux of my post: its naive to think the ramifications of this passing won’t be immediate.
True. Not only big cities, either. East Liverpool, Ohio, (pop. 7000) for example. You need a Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu phrase book to hear the diagnosis in their ER.
A mini-American constitutional republic. I’ll have to learn how to shoot a musket when the bad guys come. I’m willing to go down fighting for liberty than acquiesce to Marxism. Better Dead than Red. Hope I can finish law school in time.
If everyone isn’t deathly afraid, they are living in denial.
Not only seeking to find parties with ‘standing’ but finding a way to ‘stay’ the execution of the bill until the USSC makes a decision.
an army of “paramedics” has been the frontline of revolutionary medicine in China and Cuba
May epidurals during childbirth for obama supporters be the first “unnecessary” govt health benefit to be cut..amen
“Taxes will start being taken this January......”
As they start to work on AMNESTY for Illegals!
Wanna bet they go for Cap=N=Trade first?

Productivity will drop. Small businesses that are hanging on by a thread hoping to wait out the recession will go into bancruptcy or simply shutter their doors. 10% Unemployment will seem like the good old days. Then add cap and trade and we’re the USSR. JMHO but you asked for it.
*<[;o)~~ Merry Christmas and burn Congress to the ground.
i think this will overturned at the least. how are they going to deal with the increase in taxes and lack of services to seniors?? hasn’t the left’s stance always been that Repubs were going to cut services for seniors?? how are they going to explain this??
