Business/Economy

1) The last half of 2008 will be declared a recession and it will continue through the first quarter. We will have little growth in the 2nd and 3rd quarter, modest growth in the 4th quarter.

1) GOP will retake the House; gain in the Senate including Rudy in NY. 2 or 3 prominent Dems will be defeated in both Houses.

2) 0bama will be at 40% 12-31-10

3) There will be talk of a primary challenge from 0bama's left (I know it is impossible to believe).

4) One or two GOPers will declare for President (other than Palin).

5) A Republican will be elected Governor of Maryland

World

1. New Tory Govt in Britian in 2010.

2. Secret papers will be release from the archives in Russia or the Vatican (not related) that will be of historical significance (change how we view an event in history).

3. NO UFO disclosure in 2010.

4. Iran and Israel - I give up making prediction about this.

5. Russia and the Ukraine will rattle swords.

6. No word about or from OBL by 12/31/10.

Sports

1. The Super Bowl will be super hyped between Minnesota and Indianapolis.

2. It will be the subway series II in 2010. Yankees v the NY Mets.

3. The Washington Capitals will win the Stanley Cup

4. Brazil will win the World Cup. The US will advance to the elimination round.

5. Cleveland will win the NBA championship ( City's first championship since the 1955) Shaq retires

6. Controversy will suround the winter olympics in Vancouver that might erupt into a majotr scandal.

Arts and Entertainment

1. EON/Danjaq will enter into talks with John Barry and Shirley Bassey to do the theme for Bond 23, however, Cubby's indiot heirs will screw it up. Dave Arnold and Don Black will team up to write the theme and a song for no other than Lady GaGa. Despite initial scepticism the theme song will be both a critical and commercial success and will rival Duran Duran's "A View to a Kill" as the most selling Bond Theme.

2. Heather Locklear will agree to pose nude for Playboy.

3. The "It" girl for 2010 will be Joanna Levesque.
