Major earthquake in Southern California (L.A. - Inland Empire) somewhere near the first of the year.

1) Extraordinary number of water main breaks in L.A. basin.

2) A series of small (~3.0) quakes south, east and north of the L.A. basin but none along the San Andreas zone.

3) VERY quiet over last month or so.

4) The smart people have been saying we are overdue to about a decade now.http://www.shakeout.org/
