What am I missing about the point of continually posting this massive amount of information from 60 years ago...other than you have a lot of time on your hands. Please, those of us interested in history, and I am included in that, have our own resources and don’t need someone posting reams of information on a web site.

Homer, you really should stop going to folks houses and forcing them to click on these threads.
I think it is great — it like “living” history — seeing what was actually happening on this very day, through the eyes of those who were living it at the time.
They didn’t know what was coming next. That makes this approach to studying history — watching it unfold in their realtime, fascinating and engaging.
Thanks for doing this Homer, and HD1200, you certainly can eschew these threads and go about reviewing history your own way.
My solution for you sir is to take a remedial math class and stop clicking on these threads. There, problem solved, and we don’t have to listen to your self serving rants. Win-win if you ask me.
