PR move. Not much going on in golf world these months anyhow. “Indefinite” means nothing, just buys him more time away from scrutiny. Anyone who thinks he will stop golfing is crazy. Only way the guy can make money and no matter how turned off people claim to be, whatever tournament he plays first will have the highest ratings ever for golf.

A smart move (not that he appears any too bright, these days) would be to lay low until Augusta...no way will they give him a hard time at the Masters...most tightly controlled and reverential Tiger crowd in the universe...

Rush said today on his show that there sightings of supplies being loaded on Tiger’s 125 ft yacht “Privacy” and that the name on the yacht had been covered up to keep people from lurking. He said that it looked like he was going on a long “cruise”. This was this afternoon long before the announcement.
