I just checked out several pages of hat catalogs and not one of them calls it a Castro Cap. That seems to be your hang up.

It's a cadet hat possibly from San Diego Hat Company.
It has been reported that when Castro plays dressup,he wears this cap, along with his Naughty Monkey pumps.

Palin’s hat looks like a fashion knockoff of the patrol cap Uncle Sam gave me back in the day. As for ushankas, you can’t beat them for the cold. They are a great deal as milsurp. Anyway, Palin would look good in anything and this thread is silly.

Even without the Castro resemblance, the hat looks ridiculous on her.
Only a woman would say such a catty thing. It looks pretty cute on her. She could even wear crappy Michelle Obama clothes and they would look okay on her.
