Why Does Every Thread (apparently) Start with an ant-Romney Ad? (a vanity post, but sincere)

Let me be clear: I don't like Romney. I wouldn't vote for Romney. I hope he never runs for President, and if he tries, I hope he never gets the nomination. In other words -- I don't like Romney!
However, -- I am tired of having to scroll past an anti-Romney ad as the #1 entry on every article lately.
Why does every post start with an anti-Romney ad? As far as I know, he isn't even running for anything right now.
In fact, why should every article begin with an anti-Anyone ad?
I've always considered most Freepers to be very objective and fair-minded.
Has FreeRepublic turned into a one-trick pony? (DestroyRomneyDestroyRomneyDestroyRomney...etc.)
It has become quite tiresome. Could someone please tell me why FreeRepublic is doing this?
Jim Robinson, are you aware that this is happening?
Thank you.

Paladin2 :
"I think he straightened out the Utah
Olympics as opposed to Zer0's loss of the Chicago Olympics. " Let's consider this. By "straightened out" you mean
that Romney got the US government (the taxpayers) to pay off the Olympics?
Was Obama's "loss" therefore insufficient taxpayer payoff?

Do you have something positive to say for Mitt Romney? He supports his wives in high style.

Like the one, with Sen. DeMint about, the Tea Parties, think promotion works best (unless there is an issue that should be addressed). Has there been any consideration about how they (Tea Parties) are going to interface with the upcoming elections... and what candidates will support them.
Seems that a campaign focus would be good, starting after the holidays.

"There is a large contingent of fundamental Christians who are opposed to Mormonism"I wouldn't call the "bigot brigade" a large contingent. They just stalk ANY Mormon thread and post a lot.

"I'm waiting to see what happens when Sarah decides to endorse McCain."IF that were to happen, which I see no sense worrying about, she will be ousted like any other RINO.
The fact that you state "when Sarah" endorses, not "if" says all I need to know about YOU.

"MITTBOTS are on a mission, good grief, look at the posts of those who oppose him' ==========================================
I was actually implying that the Mittbots are organized, perhaps some even paid to promote him here on FR, and I suspect for some it is a religious mission
It makes me happy to see Mitt slapped down decisively, but the repeatedly part is wearing mighty thin.

There is an obvious undercurrent suggesting that the High Poobahs want Romney for the next candidate. Bbbb....but...I just swoon when I look at how handsome he is!
That, and when he supports gay marriage, the stealing of other people's health insurance, and homosexual adoption.
Just dreamy.

Just what part of your recent statement, "This is Palin Country" do these people not understand?
I am amazed that there are this many undeniably rude posters attempting to enforce their 'WILL-ARD' upon you.... and that they've been attempting the same for years. Are they so dim they can't take a hint?

The mitt-bots infiltrated FR years ago, and during his bid for the presidential nomination, they tried to take control over every single thread. It was so utterly obnoxious that I, a longterm lurker, vowed that I would never vote for Mittens for anything, not anything.
They figure that they are so well paid that they can just continue to barrage the threads with pro-Mitt bytes ad infinitum.
Ain't gonna work.
They've been told that "This is Palin Country," and instead they are all smoke & mirrors, trying to change the issue. The issue is that Jim Robinson has said that FR is for conservatives.
Rinos need not post.

Do you have something positive to say for Mitt Romney? During the Vietnam war Mitt fled to France instead of Canada.

I hope you are not implying that only Sarah Palin can be discussed as a viable conservative option.
